He died because he loves us!!!!!! He saw your face personally when his was going to the cross, you are the thing that made him endure. And even if some people still don't accept Him, he still did it for them, He loves them. He loves you.

Will you receive Jesus Christ right now?
Here is how you can receive Christ:
1. Admit your need (I am a sinner.)
2. Change your attitude that you can save yourself. Change your attitude to the fact that only Christ can save you by what He did on the cross (Repent...means a change of mind or attitude)
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you and rose from the grave.
4. Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (Receive Him as Lord and Savior)

He didn't "die for us." Fictional characters die fictional deaths.

Did a historical Jesus exist?
http://www.nobeliefs.com/exist.htm

ALL CLAIMS OF JESUS DERIVE FROM HEARSAY ACCOUNTS

No one has the slightest physical evidence to support a historical Jesus; no artifacts, dwelling, works of carpentry, or self-written manuscripts. All claims about Jesus derive from writings of other people. There occurs no contemporary Roman record that shows Pontius Pilate executing a man named Jesus. Devastating to historians, there occurs not a single contemporary writing that mentions Jesus. All documents about Jesus got written well after the life of the alleged Jesus from either: unknown authors, people who had never met an earthly Jesus, or from fraudulent, mythical or allegorical writings. Although one can argue that many of these writings come from fraud or interpolations, I will use the information and dates to show that even if these sources did not come from interpolations, they could still not serve as reliable evidence for a historical Jesus, simply because all sources derive from hearsay accounts.

Hearsay means information derived from other people rather than on a witness' own knowledge.

Courts of law do not generally allow hearsay as testimony, and nor does honest modern scholarship. Hearsay provides no proof or good evidence, and therefore, we should dismiss it.

Just being with these bodies is quite enough, Fruitcake.

Jesus died in the manner that he did so that you could know that you are capable of dying in a similar or worse manner. He wanted to show us how not to live in fear. It is as though he was saying: If fear is what is holding you back from being who you really are, watch me get through this.

Don't take this the wrong way.

To save us from our sins so we wouldn't have to suffer in hell.
He'z sooooooo wonderful, b thankful He did that.

It DOES amount to something. He's loves us ALOT. His love for us never stops, it keeps goin on, and that should b the same for us. We should love Him like He love's us. It amounts to not going to hell.

He loved us and wanted to restore our relationship with God.

It's not that he didn't think we would amount to anything, it's that he knew no matter how "good" we are, it still isn't good enough by God's standard of goodness and perfection.
