Satan isn't really interested in attacking false religions, just Christianity.

In the first place, I can't imagine why you are lumping a-theists and agnostics together with Christian Bashers. It is thoroughly unethical, and inappropriate to "bash" anybody because of his particular chosen belief system... or for that matter his abdication from any religious belief system at all. To the contrary, it is NOT immoral, a-moral, unethical, or illegal to be an a-theist or an agnostic. Neither is it logical, reasonable, or even factual to imply that a-theists and agnostics are the ones doing the "bashing" of any religious denomination. Some may of course, because there is no "perfect rule" that has no exceptions. But I would suggest that faaaaaaar more Christians bash a-theists and agnostics than the other way around.
I also don't understand where you get the notion that people who happen to not accept the concept of some mysterious invisible superbeing, are "running away" from "god". Honey read my font, if a person doesn't believe in the existence of something, he sure doesn't "run away" from it --- because he doesn't believe in its existence.. Get it?
There isn't anything else going on "deep inside". It's just perfectly straightforward, simple, plain, uncomplicated, and a matter of that particular individual's personal, considered opinion. If I form an opinion about something - anything - I don't go out and "attack" the alternative opinions of other people, and quite honestly, I don't think the overwhelming majority of folks do that either. Indeed, if anybody is doing the attacking, and displaying intolerance, it is the Christians towards a-theists and agnostics. Why the heck should they give a rat's behind what somebody else believes, or doesn't believe? They are fortunate enough to live in a country that allows THEM the freedom to embrace whatever belief they choose to, without objection, protest or interference, yet they seem often to have a huge problem extending that exact same right to all those who don't happen to share their personal way of thinking.
I do NOT believe in the "god of the bible" or any other "god" for that matter. But for all I care, any other person could worship an Old English Upright Rosewood Piano with brass candleholders..... because it isn't my business, and just as long as that person isn't obstructing any of my own personal freedoms, I do not care.

Atheists and agnostics are not all "Christian bashers", first of all. And if they say that "God does not exist" that is an opinion; not bashing. Generalizing and stereotyping never helped anyone get a point across.
And people DO attack other Gods, actually. The Christian God happens to be a bigger target because most of the people here on Yahoo are of the US, UK, Canada, & Australia---predominately Christian countries. You don't have nearly as many people touting, talking, or asking about Buddha or Muhammed; therefore they get much less criticism. Just logic on that one.
And in my own experience with people, many people "run" from the God of the Bible because they find Him to be extremely cruel (killing children, sending most of the world to Hell, and all that), or because they find the story an unbelievable one. And some are just not the same religion. They were raised completely differently, and their beliefs were just as deeply ingrained and taught to them as yours were.
As for me, I DO believe in God. I do not however, strictly follow the Bible, which was written in fact, by men--- not God. I also do not follow Christianity to a tee---because again, religion is made by man, not God. I am spiritual and agnostic and I do not bash Christians. However, I am quick to stand up against the hatred that some of them spew.

God Doesn’t Care. Most people believe in God. And, when asked why they believe in God, the most common answer is taken from the argument from design: the universe is too ordered and beautiful to have arisen without an intelligence behind it. Whether or not this is true, this claim has little to do with Christianity. Christianity claims that God not only created the world but also takes an active part in its management, in our moral choices, and in our fates. In other words; He cares. It is this conception of God that bends credulity to the breaking point. God as essence—that is a “first cause” God or a “higher power” God—is a far less difficult concept than God as being. First of all, according to centuries old Christian dogma, God is immutable. In other words He is a static, non-changing “being” that cannot create new beliefs, make inferences, or adjust desires. Secondly the idea of an omniscient, omnipotent “being” having desires borders on the nonsensical. If all things are known—all that ever was, is, or will be—what would be the point of desiring anything? This is not just a simple word game. Christians consistently claim that God “wants” us to believe in him and follow his commandments. However, they also claim that he knows whether we will do so or not. So, what is the point of Him wanting anything? A God as essence is palatable. A God as being is not only ridiculous but likely impossible. (P.S. This one is for the non-predestinarians. If you are a pre-destinarian there are other reasons you are wrong: see below. However, most Christians are not predestinarians; although, if they care about consistency [not high on the list], they should be.)

Your joking right? Have you seen how much muslims have been attacked on this board? How many times pagans(inclduing buddhists) have been attacked? By the way all the other religion bashing is done mostly by CHRISTIANS. Don't dish out what you can't take. Why do we run so hard from the bible? The same bible that condones rape, slavery, murder and genocide? You must be kidding. And no sweetie deep inside I don't know he exists. Cuz he doesn't. You lot are always in denial with the fact that people don't believe in your God.

Where have you been? Islam and Buddhism are attacked all the time.
But they wouldn't attack Mohammed, because he is not God to the Muslims. Allah is God to the Muslims. And Buddha is not a God to the Buddhists. He was an enlightened man.

Since we were all born with a conscience, we know the difference between right and wrong and can feel those emotions. I agree that deep down there is a knowledge that God is right and that they are wrong.
I am not an atheists, agnostic or Christian-basher. Just felt compelled to answer. Thanks.

Well, think about this one. We are on a website that requires us to write in English. All English speaking nations that I know of are overwhelmingly Christian. Those who are most comfortable writing in English have mostly grown up around Christianity.
Christianity is not only the most popular religion in the world, it is the religion OF the most powerful. We live in democratic countries where it is important that the people make informed decisions. And we know that what people do affects us all.
Christians try to pass laws that affect us all - such as eliminating abortion; or having their religion enshrined in our documents, and buildings; restricting the rights of gays; and trying to put religion in our schools.
Look also at President Bush... the man said he was told by God to invade Iraq. Apocalyptic Christians may be all to happy for the next nuclear war to come along (do we really want them in charge of our weapons?).
The truth is, Christians affect us the most so it is them we wish to educate.

They are all attacked in proportion to the amount they attack others.
You are the biggest religion and the worst attackers. If you can't take it, don't dish it out.
There is no evidence for the existence of any gods.

Likely.
We just really enjoy it when people come up and say we're wrong; which is why we ACT as if we're wrong. In reality we're all catholic and confess our sins regularly to the priest who may not talk about it.
What planet do you live on?
For the record, I don't bash anybody for their believe in god(s) or lack thereof. For things beyond my control I do live in a Christian society, I was born in a Christian society and Christianity is the most prominent religion here. So, of course I more often have to explain myself to a Christian and say that I don't think that his/her god exists as opposed to a Hindu, whom I've never talked to about religion.

HAHAHA! Dude, wow. OK, look. Muhammed wasn't a god, he was a "prophet." Buddha wasn't a god, he was a regular man who emphasized that he shouldn't be viewed as a god. And why the living hell would we run away from God if we "knew" he existed? That makes no damn sense whatsoever.
