Dear friend,
you have really asked a good question.
I don't know why people enjoyhurting and insulting others. the bad nature of man usually depends upon his habits ans environments than himself (or herself). They have such friends, parents or they watch such movies and hear such musics. yes, even tv and music influences our mind.
YES, i do report abuse. At all possible occasions. i do. Not only in yahoo answers, but also at my College, in my friend circle, and even in bus and roads. No, iam not thinking myself i superman. NO don't think i can change the society. iam not so influential person, but my spirit says, 'The one who bears hurt or sees others getting hurt and does nothing is a greater sinner than the one who hurts.'
Because, if you ignore him. He will not stop that. he will go on and hurt many. he will spread his dirty message everywhere and others will see. they too will use the same as one one is objecting it.
Also, it is important to make the person realise that he/she is doing a mistake. you should do that again and again. so that the person is forced to think when he does it again.
NO, iam not telling you to fight and use abusive words on him. if it is in websites like this- you should "REPORT" so that the negative message is destroyed and does not spread. And if it is in our habitat then, you should use polite words to stop him. he will attack with bad, but you should be good. One cannot clean dirt with dirt..... one has to use a soap. Wash the dirt again and again till it vanishes.
I request all those who read this, be good and Report any abusing answers you find because bad seeds of todays grows crooked trees of the future.

If what one says is vaseless and paently wrong prooe ti to be wrong eihter by citing any authority or by logical arguments and scientific facts , so theat he community our=side knows it .wha is discussed her is not for any two people ,it is for the knowledge f all the people visiting the site ..If isaytha waer would buirn stones , iot would be absurd and it can be prived that it is wrong and that such statements ar false even if uttered by thegod of gods.I cannot feel hurt at it and the fact willnot change just because ai feel hurt on being proved wrong .So if there is some intentional hurt and not any exposure of folly , the answer or the quesion can be reported for abuse .
I do think that we can expect people to ignore patently wrong and false statements to be left without being commeted upon in apublic forum .We can have /make false claims in private forum exclusivel y reserved for us .

Just look at things objectively, if it is not right leave it, if you feel there is an element of truth find more facts, its all about growth, and knowing, why does it hurt you? Is it because of self doubt???
You have every right to bring out your feeling, there are millions on the net who discuss things more openly,
Reading your post makes me think why people get hurt, i get emails too, but i dont bother, the writer is angry where as i am not. we all need to grow up, Ask yourself how this is affecting you, and why does it bother you? Perhaps there lies the answer.

Fear and insecurity is what is always at the root of this type of hatred. People who have low self-esteem or are insecure or afraid, will find some sort of comfort in projecting that as anger, towards those who are different from themselves. It is easier to do that than to look in the mirror, and admit to themselves that they are wounded.

I have freedom of speech to report it when I see it, no matter the source or target, I say.

I would ignore them because they are evil and they hurt so they want to hurt everyone else that they can. Haven't you ever heard, "Misery loves company!" Don't allow these people that walk in darkness to hurt you.
