Left Behind is a great series! Great men through the ages have debated the pre or post tribulation question. I personally believe in a pre-trib rapture but question some of the imaginings in the book. I have friends who are post-trib but we have all enjoyed the fictional work of the Left Behind Series.

There are many wonderful Christian authors. Blacksktock, Kingsbury,Thoene. My church has a great library. Perhaps you could find a church with a library or visit your local Christian book store and enjoy an afternoon of browsing.

There is a woman who has written several series around the lives of the Plain or Amish communties. I believe her name is Beverly Lewis..

The Screwtape Letters is a great book as well as his Chronicles of Narnia. (even if you're not a kid lol) My fav Christian book is The Hiding Place but it's not fiction. It's the true story of a woman and her family who hid the Jews in the 2nd world war and got caught. They were sent to a concentration camp. She tells of their sufferings and of how God miraculously saved her. She has been an inspiration to me all of my adult life. I will have to thank her when I get to heaven. lol

Well, for NON-fiction, I would recommend "The Great Controversy" by E.G. White.
For fiction, some people would recommend the "Left Behind" series, but I wouldn't, as the "pre-trib" theology is fiction, not just the storyline! It isn't scriptural.

Any of CS Lewis's work is good. Also, try books by Frank Peretti - they are really good - "Hangman's Curse", "This Present Darkness, and "Piercing the Darkness".....and he wrote quite a few more.

I have always thought the Holy Bible (KJV) was the best.
Non - Fiction of course.
