When Atheists say that people that believe in a God are wrong? "Saying what proof do you have?" What proof do they have that there is no God. When Atheists say "Describe to me how you know there is a God" That's like trying to describe salt to someone who's never tasted salt it can't be done.

Now Post.

I haven't decided yet. Anyway is it a sin to drink to get tipsy or a slight buzz?

We need to stop flow of Christian women converting into Islam after they marry Muslim men......

Help in spreading this stereotype so women will be scared to come close to these relationships.

Ok, its open knowledge what are the largest religions out there, most of them come form the middle east origionally. I was wondering this: If we all agree that peacefully , lovingly and tolerantly are the best ways to live then why do we fight?
Chrisitans the bible says that all paths lead to god. Why do you purscute your Pagan neighbor?
Hindus we will all atone for our actions and be rewarded/punished equally. Why do you look down at your Buddhist brother?
Pagans all evil acts will be repaid ten times over, why do you laugh at your Christain kin?
Is there a reason? Does anyone agree? Anyone?
Please don't bash other religions btw.

John 13:12-15 "So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?
Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; (ye also ought to wash one another's feet).
(For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you").

Okay, Fundies like to say Catholics and Mormons aren't Christian... unless they are using them in statistics to point out how many Christians there are or something. I'm sure many of the sects and factions do similar, only counting their group as TrueChristans®.

So what splinter group are you, and which Abramic religions aren't really Christian besides Islam and Judaism?

Romans 2:5-6--"But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who “will render to each one according to his deeds”

Romans 2:13--"for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified"

And also recall what James said at James 2:17--"Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead."

intelligent, biblically valid answer, along with supporting quotes (if this not too much to ask!).

I would like to know if the bible actually does tell us to forgive even without the offender being asked to be forgiven. I posted the question (see below) and almost every1 says "yes, of course it does" but have no scripture to back it up.

I looked in bible and in fact Luke 17:3 seems to contridict the majority view on this, --also Judaism has different view on this also. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forgiveness ) --that is, unless person "repents" how can u forgive???

Anyway heres the question again, --thanks for the response!

Are Christians required (or desire to?) to forgive those who have wronged them even if the offender doesnt ask for forgiveness or even apologize, or perhaps doesn't recognize the offense?

I am puzzled by this whole familiar spirit thing
I am told that as a medium , it is demons trying to trick me

I have a few questions in regards to this
I am told that they do this to lead us away from God .... but in my work I have begun to believe in God ... so surely that isnt true

if enlightened spirits , angels and all things good cannot contact us
how is it that lower spirit , demons or whatever you want to call them can ?
who teaches them and allows this ?

I just find it amazing to think that demons or bad spirit are allowed out of hell to wander freely
what happened to being eternally tortured in hell ? ... or are they allowed day release to pretend to be our loved ones who have passed ?

please enlighten me

you ever seen a re-run? It is a re-presentation of what Chirst did, only in an unbloody manner. He said do this in rememberence of me and for the forgiveness of sins. The metaphor I am the door, is just that. But when Jesus at the last supper said "This is my body" there is no metaphor there. How do profane a symbol? Why did the jews walk away when Jesus taught them this? Why did Jesus not call them back, and explain he was only talking in metaphors? Because they understood him literally but could not accept it and they left him .

In Christianity, the trinity is a "so-called mystery." So if there is no scientific proof, then why do you believe it..?

In my opinion, in order to cover up the fact that the trinity has no scientific proof, people just say it is a sacred mystery..

In Islam, we regard Jesus as a prophet. And aside from that matter, Islam has scientific proof. Scientific proof of the miracles of the Quran : http://www.miraclesofthequran.com/scientific_index.html

Islam doesn't have any sacred mysteries.. Eveyrthing is clearly explained in the Quran, and all who misinterpret it's words and take them out of context, are plain ignorant.

If you guys could answer my question POLITELY, and maybe give my some more information on why you believe in the trinity, that would be great. thxs =]

P.S --> This isn't a question about Christianity vs. Islam, it is just a question about the validity of the trinity. I didn't write this question to offend anyone, but to have a debate. =D

Thxs again...=D

Can you use Jesus Christ's own words about the Kingdom to express the real Gospel of Jesus Christ?

He spoke about it over 30 times, so I hope you can find the REAL gospel in his expressions about the Kingdom because surely, he would know his own Gospel.

And there is a distinction between the Pauline and Kingdom Gospel. Source: http://gospelenigma.com
