Probably the empty tomb of Jesus. Since he cam back from the dead, he must know something that no other religious figure knows.

If you think that the Resurrection didn't happen, consider the character of the disciples of Jesus. They were eleven cowardly men who shut themselves in a room after the crucifixion because they were afraid. Yet what galvanized them into action so that within their own lifetime, much of the then known world could hear the message of Christ? Some of them paid for this message with their lives. Would they have done so if the resurrection were a hoax?

-------------------------
...Frank Morrison, a British lawyer of the 1930s, undertook an expedition to collect circumstantial evidence to disprove the resurrection. Such evidence, of course, is admissible in all courts of law in civilized countries to prove or disprove events of which there are no living eyewitnesses. When he analyzed the evidence, he reached a stunning conclusion: The resurrection had actually taken place! Morrison presented his case in his book, "Who Moved the Stone?"

The Bible has stood all history tests better than any other ancient document.

I have read most of it. Several parts I've read many many times.

OK. the big part: personal miracles in my life.

1) I was dirt poor, praying for a plane ticket for my fiancée to see her folks for Christmas. 1 week before, a friend not knowing the prayer bought her a ticket.

2) One night, while writing a check for tithe to the church, I thought, "what a lot of money. I could use this to pay debt" then I said, "God, your kingdom before my kingdom" and I wrote the check. The next day, out of the blue, my boss gave me a 10% raise.

3) I can list 10 to 20 more personal miracles like this but I'll leave you with this last one. Once, while working on a contract things looked bleak. I thought that I was going to loose my job. Office politics were horrible. Company politics on the executive level were worse. On the way home from work one day, God told me: "Don't worry about your job, I've got your job taken care of". I didn't hear Him, it was as if I felt that. It was weird, but very strong and overwhelming. Within 2 weeks from that time, not only was my contract extended for 6 months, but I got a 60% raise. Is that CRAZY or what. Yes! He did have my job taken care of.

My friend, God wants you to know Him. I don't know why. Part of knowing him is wrestling with him. Bottom line, you get introduced to Him through His son Jesus Christ. From there the adventure begins. "He who tries to keep his life will loose it. He who looses his life will find it." <----- That verse is so true.

There is a lot of evidence, including the Bible. Historical evidence, archaeological. Spiritual. Changed life.

I have read the Bible. Christianism is a relationship with Jesus, not a religion. Many people just say they are "Christians", but don't have a personal relationship with Jesus. Many of the revivals come when nominal Christians transform into real Christians, by the Holy Spirit.

If I would say it to you my friend, the Bible is not just some "Book" that you read out of a store.

To believe by faith is to accept that you are a finite, sinful man and Jesus is the only way to your eternity.

I don't have to evaluate to you what I really believe that I do believe is really real. He is.

And true believers of Christ will agree to that.

Why Not ! How many Religions do you know of that had a Sinless Man Die for ALL humaity ? The heaven's declare His works. God's way Is the only way. Repent...Ask Jesus Into your heart,Turn away from your sins. Ask Him to be Your Lord & Savior and you will be on your way to eternal life. Jesus Is Coming,,,Are You Ready ???

Seriously, they believe because they believe. It's called faith. I don't get it, either, but I know they feel it in their core, and I don't question my religious friends' sincerity. They aren't being stubborn. When they look at us non-believers, they wonder why WE don't get it.

I think some people have a different threshold of acceptance when it comes to not knowing about the mysteries of life. I believe that adherents to most religions are not comfortable with open questions so they cling to a faith that gives them answers they can accept. The rest of us are okay with not having an answer to everything.

My good man, I appeal to your senses. They rarely will answer beyond "Its the truth." or "Because thats how I was taught." The bible is attractive because:
1) It allows them to have a high horse, looking down on us fools who don't adhere to their beliefs.
2) Its large enough to convince people thats its right.
3) It has intergrate it's ideals into so many cultures and civilizations, such as America, that many common morals come from it.
4) Few people question what they're taught as childern, the reason for so many fanactics and cults targeting kids.

Hope it helps.

The Bible is the only book for me! I'm sorry that it does not work for you, but man-made stuff doesn't work for me.

Why do you think that Christians don't think? I think it is rude of you to blindly make such statements because we don't agree with you. Who is your mentor? Satan?

I have read the Bible. I have asked God for wisdom while reading it. I truly believe the Bible to be the written Word of God because I understand the contents. I also have a personal relationship with Jesus who is the living King of Kings. I belong to Jesus.

My acceptance of Jesus as my Lord and my Savior has caused me to become God's child (everyone is God's creation but, everyone isn't God's child unless they have come to Jesus). All Christians are given special privileges because they have chosen Jesus.

We have prayer access to God through Jesus. That is, our prayers are always answered. We have guidance, protection and unconditional love from God because of our choice. We have forgiveness and eternal life. Can you see why we have chosen Jesus?

Just as the person above me has given evidence of answered prayer, I will give three.

My brother was a drug addict for 35 years. God told me to stop criticizing and loathing him. He told me that I too am a sinner. He told me to pray to Him about my brother and that He would change him. I did. And He did.

1. My brother was arrested, went to jail and came to know Jesus. He called me from jail often, not to ask me to get him out, as he always had before but, to talk about Jesus. He was to be sentenced 15 years. We went to court, we prayed. The judge sentenced him to a Christian rehab for 18 mo.

My brother passed away 4 years later with lung cancer and with no addictions and with salvation from Jesus.

2. My husband retired from his job in a large city. We moved to a small town and built a new home. He needed to find work and thought that he would right away because of our new expences. We went a year and used up all of our savings because a job was not to be found in this small town. After much prayer and our bank account depleted, he was called and given a position paying twice what we had hoped for.

3. I pass by my brother's grave site often. One day I saw a little old lady placing flowers on a grave. God told me to go back. I did. The lady left so I decided to stop at my brothers grave. I looked about 5 feet away and saw a grave that had no marker. I called the cemetery and asked why the grave had no marker. The man told me that the 26 year old man had committed suicide and that his mother had no money to buy a marker. My church group bought one for his grave. God led us to help her.

These are just three of the many blessings God has worked in my life.

I am a Christian, and my religion came from my Father. He is a well respected pastor in my community, and preaches the true gospel. I have always believed him, even before he introduced me to Christianity. I have come to believe in it strongly, even without the urging of my father.
