I'm not saying that all Christian people don't drink. But it seems that if there is a really religious Christian they don't drink. I'm just wondering why this is. And why do they get all self ritous about it and look down on people who do drink?

If I am going to believe in a savior, then I would like to be introduced and meet this savior in person. I would like to see where he was mortally wounded and miraculously healed. I would like to hear him tell me his own story in his own words. I would like to know what this savior has been doing with himself since supposedly floating away on a cloud after his resurrection. Not only that, if their savior is the one true God then it should be no problem for their savior to appear seemingly by magic, like a genie, to anyone anywhere, at any time. Well????

I'm a Christian and I'm part of my youth group leadership at my church. I feel horrible because I smoke, and I'm suppose to help my church. I'm supposed to be a role model, but I don't know how I can be one if I have a habit like this. Should I just quit my leadership, because I don't want to be a hypocrite, thats the last thing I want to be. Also for those on you who plan to write hate messages to me, don't bother.

Why is it that we go outside, look at the sunset, and say "God, your creation is amazing!!!", Then go back inside, look in a mirror and say "God, your creation sucks!!!"

Why don't you believe Hercules is real? HIS story uses real locations in Greece and elsewhere as the backdrop, and he meets some historical people, so therefore I should believe his whole story is true? Likewise with Jason and the Argonauts, and Helen of Troy...

They think that if you have a rock with a bunch of random chemicals on it and leave it for four billion years you get people. Does this make sense to anyone?

What do the Christians actually want? Power and the obedience of others? Total control over others?
What tangible actions do they want to occur so that they will be pleased and stop persecuting people?
What is with the constant disapproval of almost every action and the pointing out of "sins"?
Are they really upset that people are committing "sins"? Is this to say that if people stopped "sinning", the Christians would be happy? Or is it more than that?

Dear God:
I know that I'm a sinner. I deserve Hell. But You sent Jesus to die for my sins. I believe that He died and rose again. I ask you now to forgive my sins, once an for all. I now receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and Personal Saviour. Please come into my heart and save me, Help me to know I am saved and live for You, the rest of my life. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.

If something exists and you DO believe in it, then your belief conforms with reality.
If something DOESN'T exist, and you DON'T believe in it, then your belief conforms to reality.
If something DOESN'T exist and you DO believe in it, then it still does NOT exist.

I thought that needed to be pointed out.
If someone believes in a god and other people don't, does the other people's disbelief in that god make that god disappear?

If the answer is no, then why are god believers upset when someone doesn't believe in their god?
I mean, if your god truly does exist and you're so sure that it does, then why are you concerned about other people's opinion of or belief in that god?

The only reason I can think of for why someone would need to convince another person that their own god was the "right one", would be if the person doing the convincing had some agenda where their own god needs to exist in order for them to justify their own actions and agenda.
