Damn good question. Christians are victims of a great deal of circular logic so they are all very confused. The reason is the bible contradicts itself in thousands of places and yet they believe it is inerrant (because it says so: more circular logic). It's kind of like my wife, thousands of self-contradictions make it impossible to understand what she wants and yet, she's never wrong.

We are not to judge others. We are supposed to testify as to what God has done for us in our life, since we commited our life to Him, and tell them of what God can do for them, also. It is a righteous thing to show them and tell them of the things that are condemned in the word of God, so that they can see these things in their lives, and see how following Christ can save them, too.
Above all, we must be doers of the Word, not only hearers of the Word.

Why did you not finish that first verse. John 5:22: "For the Father judgeth no man, but hath commited all judgement to the Son: 23: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him."

Do not to try to make it seem as if men will not be judged.

A generalization.. Not all Christians spend their days staring at people with a critical eye and count the sins of others. Many Christians have better things to do..

Of course we should be able to recognize sin, in ourselves, in other church members, and even in the world. That is reality and there is nothing wrong with that. The type of judging you are talking about in these scriptures is more like giving a sentence of verdict for what is done. If someone sins and I say - " you will go to hell for that" than I have passed a sentence upon that person - and that is wrong. However if I tell someone that they have sinned and should repent, there is nothing wrong with that .

Not only are Christians guilty of this, but so is every person. It is just human nature to find fault in our fellow man. I think the more spiritually mature we become, however, the more we realize that we have a beam in our eye, and we shouldn't be trying to pluck the mote out of our neighbor's.

I dont think being judgemental is unique to Christians?

As for observing sin is that the same thing as being judging?

Yes it can lead to being judgemental of others but are you identifying cause with effect?

Excuse the "Xtian" viewpoint but we're all imperfect flawed sinners?

Being as statues have been as quickly as the photographs of it fairly is time alongside with carvings do then you propose you and something individuals expend all our photographs and photos of acquaintances and family members and stop finding at them so no longer be accused of worshiping them. it fairly is unhappy that individuals with minds as yours and clearly under the administration of a cult are so easily fooled by using your cults teachings.

Let's see now
"seeing sin"
and Judging it are two different things altogether.
I could see someone stealing
Not report it .......or if I did report it was I "judging?"
I could sit on a Jury, help sentence a criminal to punishment.
Now that would be Judging.
Or perhaps refusing to talk to the guy I saw stealing.
That might be Judging.

Seeing "sin" in someone and not sticking your head in the sand is not Judging. If we are blind we fall into it with them. :)

You are misquoting Matthew 5 in this context.

The Bible does not tell us "not to judge", but rather not to "condemn". This is violated by the church when it excommunicates someone. Saying something like, "If you do not accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, you will go to hell." is not necessarily judging someone, it is just stating a position. albeit very brash.

Say I were to go back in time to Britain on April 10th 1912. There I see the maiden voyage of the Titanic being boarded. I have knowledge that will set the destiny of those who would listen and those who will not. If I were to warn as many passengers as I could of this "unsinkable" liner's impending doom, I could easily be dismissed as being a naysayer or nut. The problem is, I have information from the future, and no one will believe me except those who take the information by faith.

We Christians have the same information from the future (ie timeless eternity) called the Bible. It has been proven 100% accurate in fulfilled prophetic passages and there is another 25-30% left to be fulfilled. This is information for those who will listen. For those who discount what we warn, and choose to climb onboard--fine--but don't blame us for not warning you.

This is worse than a doomed ocean liner. This is eternity we are talking about. So for a Christian to warn of impending eternal doom after death, that is something quite different. To do it with a condemning attitude is wrong--this I would agree is incorrect. But it is also a sin to stay silent.

Romans 10:14-15
How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?

Great question! Matthew 7 is one of my favorite Bible verses. One of the few I can actually agree with.
