Why is it that we go outside, look at the sunset, and say "God, your creation is amazing!!!", Then go back inside, look in a mirror and say "God, your creation sucks!!!"

I usually look at the sunset and think what a beautiful effect that happens when the earth rotates around away from the sun. When I look in the mirror and see something I don't like, I blame my genetics. Now, see, the funny thing is, if you knew anything about science you would know that there is a scientific basis for both of these things. Wow, are we living in the dark ages that you still believe that god is setting the sun? You need to go and tell your science teacher they are not doing their job.

The sunset is very beautiful and yes, I do believe that God created it. But since God made the first person in your family, I think God made you. And there is nothing bad at all about the human body. Everyone is wonderful in their own way. And don't deny it!!

I don't believe in god, so I don't say your creation is amazing, and I don't look in the mirror and say your creation sucks, it must just be your low self-esteem.

Because we fail to remember that its whats on the inside that counts, Have you ever noticed when you first meet someone you think there ugly or something but as you hang around them you change your mind about them. We just judge people to quick and sometimes that costs us some really great friends, maybe even the perfect spouse.

Your body does NOT suck. It may not be perfect, but it is the most sacred thing God has given us. It is worth more than the most beautiful nature scene. If you see a waterfall, or a sunset, and it just takes your breath away, think to yourself, "I am more sacred and valuable than that thing that God has made."
You are worth more than you know.

I don't. God doesn't exist. I go outside and say "Thats beautiful". Then I go inside and look in the mirror and smile in satisfaction at what I see. I'm not ashamed of myself. Maybe you are.

haha....to God, who sees all things through the eyes of truth, you can be assured you are much more beautiful than the sunset. You just need to look through God's eyes....do you really think He made a mistake in anything He created?

We should never insult God's creations, and we should always love ourselves. We are created in the image of God, and no matter what opinion we have of ourselves, God and Christ think of us the same: masterpieces.
