Adoration in the physical presence of Christ in the Eucharist is a wonderful thing. Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen admonished his fellow priests to keep the Holy Hour.
I go to daily Mass when possible and would like to get in some adoration time, but it is hard. However, I do try to pray some parts of the Office and to keep Him in mind.
Time with God refreshes us and makes us able to function better during the day.

Why would you have to "pray" to be able to go to a Catholic church every day?? You have to ask "god" to be able to do this? I thought people could walk into a church anytime they want. And, if someone does not have the opportunity to go church everyday, does that mean that Jesus doesn't care, and won't "sit" with them at another place?? What if you could only "sit with Jesus" for 30 minutes each day?....that just doesn't cut the mustard? Thanks, but I think I'll pass.

I used to go to daily Mass every day..and tried to be at all 3 Masses on the weekend...because I believed and truly loved Jesus and truly loved the church and going to church. But my "fellow Catholics"...the ones I prayed the same prayers with every day and hugged and gave the peace sign to every day..thought I was crazy for going to Mass so much and turned against me. So I don't go anymore.

first of all, we worship in common terms God and Jesus Christ. We do ask for intercessions via the Saints and Mary and the Angels, yet we don't worship them. enable me see...A Catholic Mass has approximately 5 or 6 songs (on the main) sung. It takes up approximately quarter-hour of our Mass. one in each and every of those songs *could* be approximately Mary for the duration of a common Mass. There are approximately 3 days out of the completed 12 months that we provide greater interest to Mary than in many cases, in spite of the fact that it is by no skill over God. That leaves 40 5 minutes left for the Mass: --We are available in, we pray to God and for the forgiveness of our sins. --We hear to the readings (one old testomony analyzing, one New testomony analyzing and a Gospel analyzing) --We sing Psalms (it is between the 1st and 2nd analyzing and the 2nd and Gospel analyzing) --A homily is given --We pray greater, TO GOD. --We the bypass into the consecration --We kneel in prayer TO GOD. --We stand and recite the Lord's Prayer --We kneel in prayer as quickly as greater --We obtain the Eucharist --We pray some greater --we are saying a final prayer and close with yet another music approximately God's goodness and we bypass away. i've got been Catholic for 11 years. the only time we "spend church time making a music to Mary" is for the duration of Christmas and that's approximately Christ's beginning and for this reason Mary is an element of the music, the assumption of Mary (often in common terms one or 2 songs) and the stainless theory. it is it. we are Christians. A Christian is somebody who follows Jesus Christ and believes he's Lord and Savior, which we do. you will not violate Christianity in case you sing approximately Mary. you're confusing prayer and music with worship. to desire skill "to ask" and not something greater. All worship is prayer, yet not all prayer is worship. making a music songs isn't worship the two. If we are so terrible and clearly not Christian, then do not bypass to a Catholic Mass.

No, I'm not Catholic, and Jesus is always with me. I can talk to Him whenever I want to or need to. I don't have to go to a church building to be with Him.

I'd love to hang out with Jesus, but not in the Catholic church.
On the beach, at a nice cafe, maybe even go hiking.
I'd like to hear his thoughts first hand.

I pray for a life free of the threat of religion.
Without religion, we'd have had no 9/11

Jesus must be pretty decomposed by now. I doubt they'd allow him in a church.
