He was revived and came back to tell about what he saw. He said that people whom he knew who had preceeded him in death were waiting at the gate. I would like to hear comments from anybody who has read it. I posted it in R & S because I belive that it is the kind of book spritual people would read.
Thanks in advance for your answers

(or both, like myself.)

which makes more sense to you?

I'm all for God, but can't make complete sense of any religion on Earth...

Hasn't happened to me, I'm just curious.
Oh and btw I'm not a religious freak trying to shove a belief down your throat.

I am so far from religious.

I know Christians think you are supposed to love everyone (even those you don't like). Please tell me, though, how you are supposed to love someone you don't even like.

Sorry, but I reserve my feelings of LOVE for those who actually have earned it.

Not looking to be malicious. I genuinely want to know.

There seems to be this school of thought that says emotions are of this world or 'worldly'. But doesn't every action or inaction has some sort of emotional motivation behind it, right?

Prominent "Family-Values" scientist Em Adjineri has recently discovered a scientific law that proves that gay marriage is a threat to the sanctity of marriage. This law is the Law of Conservation of Marriage.

The Law of Conservation of Marriage states that only a certain number of people can be married at the same time. That is why God has made divorce so prevalent in today's world. With so many people, some people need to get divorced so that others can get married.

If gay marriage is legalized, then there won't be enough available heterosexual marriages. Since it is impossible to procreate outside of wedlock, this means that there will be less children.

This will cause a massive population decline, which means less people will be worshiping God. That will anger God, and he will start smiting everybody, and nobody wants that.

I can think of no better explanation of why gay marriage is wrong. Can anybody provide me with one?

hello. ive been thinking alot about converting my religion to islam. im currently a catholic & never really believed in it, except things like jesus christ died on the cross & we will go to heaven if we do good stuffs & all that. & ive been learning about islam for about four or five months now & really believe in it, yet i still have doubts about this world. doubts like.. why everythings like this & i need some better explanations about life & this world. also, when you want to convert, you just gotta say the lines "there is no god, but allah, and muhammed is his messenger" in arabic. then suppose you already convert & now is a muslim, but you dont know how to pray yet? i mean, do you have to know the rules & everything about islam & be preparing to pray before you can convert? im sorry about my bad explanation here, i really suck. hope you guys will understand what im trying to say. & please dont give any rude responds. seriously, its a waste of time of being so mean for lame reason.

If so, shouldn't the Christians be more concerned with banning divorce rather than banning gay marriage?

If so, why? Why would you go to say, a Catholic school, if you are not Catholic? I don't get it. I know someone whose child goes to a Jewish day school and they are as far from Jewish as it gets. I just do not understand.

ok I believe in God and consider myself quite a spiritual person
but I know I have learned a lot from many here including the Atheists in this section
the day I dont want to learn from people ... I may be telling those Atheists to get out of here ( not that they should listen to me lol )
but I dont see that day ever happening , because we should always be learning from each other
we dont know everything ... not a single one of us

any other Theists/Deists appreciate the Atheists being in this section ?
have you learned from them in any way ?
can we settle this once and for all ... because I am concerned about possible liver poisoning with the regulars here :oP

despite the circumstance that you find yourself in. I mean you can easily let yourself go and start practicing what is bad such as fornication, adultery, murder, and many more loose conduct carried on in the world. It's easy for us to get entangled in these practices. But I chose to stick to the way of life that God wants us to live.

My question is why are you willing obey God and to strive to remain faithful despite feeling left out and tempted?

"The U.S Treaty with Tripoli 1796" this document was signed by many of the founding fathers including John Adams & George Washington our first President.

Article 11 :. As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquillity, of Mussulmen; and, as the said States never entered into any war, or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties, that no pretext arising from religious opinions, shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.

guess you can call me a semi-introvert.I 'm sort of shy-quiet to myself type of gal, sometimes I walk with my head down, because I'm afraid that people might see me as being arrogant so in turn I do the opposite and sort of retreat into the opposite. I think people kind of mistake me as being the opposite, I want to open up and be more friendly znd open without caring so much as to what people think...I'm so consumed as to what people think and it in turn makes me stay to myself and not really socialize,(I'm especially like this around women) Why am I not confident ? How can I become more confident and carefree without caring what others think?I wanna be myself! Please help!
