He was revived and came back to tell about what he saw. He said that people whom he knew who had preceeded him in death were waiting at the gate. I would like to hear comments from anybody who has read it. I posted it in R & S because I belive that it is the kind of book spritual people would read.
Thanks in advance for your answers

To Oregon Flower. Is what he writes about consistent with what Scripture says about heaven?

Actually I am in the middle of reading the book and it is great! It's so reassuring that our next life will be nothing but bliss! Great book, especially for the born again!

I have actually read it and really liked it. What he says about Heaven is accurate according to the Bible and what it tells us of Heaven. There are some unknown things that we get told, as in it is not the Bible, but no conflicting ideas or information. God says that Heaven is beyond our imagination, and I think his pupose of people like John is to give us slight glimpses of it,encourage us, and to enlightened us each time.

What did you think of it? At first I was not too sure how to take it, because there are many 'Christians' out there seeking fame and glory, but quickly after reading some it became apparent he was not one.

expensive green Eyes, I examine "ninety minutes in Heaven" and enjoyed it immensely. have you ever examine C.S. Lewis' the large Divorce? It supplies yet another impressive image of heaven. i haven't yet had a great gamble to verify "Heaven is actual" yet I do seem forward to doing so interior the destiny. maximum of reliable books to verify So little time to realize this. For His glory, JOYfilled

Yes, I did. I thought it was good, and the guy seems genuine. Doesn't it say somewhere in the Bible that there's singing in heaven higher than any mortal human can sing? I thought it was cool when Mr. Piper realized he was doing the singing (it was possible for him because he wasn't exactly a mortal at that time). And you know what? I love to sing. :)

I saw him in person. He was at a conference at Mackinac Island (MI) to speak at the Win Some Women (Petosky, MI). Contact them and see if you can get a CD of this conference and you can listen to it. It is AMAZING and all true because the conference women were hesitant in getting him to speak until they confirm that he is not a fake.

you know there is actually no way to prove that he went to "heaven"
honestly try separating what you want to believe and reality .....

I don't need to. I was there and after suffering 90 minutes of his yammering, he had to go....and he won't be coming back.
