Poor jamoca. If anger is inspired by this question, let me ask this one: do you truly believe in equality? If you do, the anger is unwarranted. If you search your soul & find you don't believe in equality, then your response could be construed as "stupid". Sounds like the evangelicals all want to pass laws against things they are being caught doing & prosecuted for! Open the eyes, OK?

No, they think they have to make EVERY one fallow the TEN Commandments, and live life by their rules! They focus on the parts of the Bible that says being Gay is a Sin. They forget the parts that tell them "Judge not, that ye be not judged"

"Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?"

"He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone"

"Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's."

You know, you might just have something there...

I'll have to ask one of the 65% of Texans who voted to ban gay marriage if that was their motivation. Personally, I couldn't think of a good reason for them to do it before...

No..what they are afraid of is people trying to force them to perform the ceremonies and getting slapped with discrimination lawsuits when they refuse, because it goes against the churches beliefs of what marriage is. That is the bottom line.
