despite the circumstance that you find yourself in. I mean you can easily let yourself go and start practicing what is bad such as fornication, adultery, murder, and many more loose conduct carried on in the world. It's easy for us to get entangled in these practices. But I chose to stick to the way of life that God wants us to live.

My question is why are you willing obey God and to strive to remain faithful despite feeling left out and tempted?

Because these temptations and trials are only temporary. If I can rely on God to get me through them, the blessings I'll receive will be worth it. And not only that (because blessings are just the icing on the cake), but obeying God is the right thing to do! I mean, it's the least I can do considering all He's done, is doing, and promises to do for me.

I do not feel left out and tempted. I am not tempted to sleep around, murder people, or steal.
Why would anyone want to do those things?

I love God. I want to be a good person. I chose to treat others the way that I want to be treated.

Why would I feel left out? No way am I tempted to commit murder, steal, sleep with lots of different people, get drunk every night, and take drugs!

Throughout history, God has chosen certain humans to be his close friends. For example, God called Abraham his friend (James 2:23). God referred to David as " a man agreeable to my heart" because he was the kind of person God loves. (Acts 13:22) And God viewed the prophet Daniel as "someone very desirable". (Daniel 9:23)

Why did God consider Abraham, David and Daniel to be his friends? He told Abraham: "You have listened to my voice." (Genesis 22:18) So, God draws close to those who humbly do what he asks of them. If you obey God, you too can become his friend.

Think about what friendship with God means. The Bible says that God is looking for opportunities "to show his strength in behalf off those whose heart is complete toward him." (2 Chronicles 16:9)

This is shown in Psalm 32:8, where we read: I (God) shall make you have insight and instruct you in the way you should go. I will give advice with my eye upon you."

This is why I choose to obey God.

I choose to obey God because He is our Creator and King. It's like in England. You have a King and you have to obey him, right? Well, it's the same thing...kind-of.
I also choose to obey Him because of the thing He did for us. He died for us! No other person brave enough would do that!
It's like saying a radom person dying for you so that you could live. Wouldn't you love that person for doing that? I would.
Also, and the most important thing, is because he says to obey Him. In the Bible He says to obey all of His commandments.
Yes, times get tough, but, you know God is with you all the way throughout it. that's a very comforting thought too.

ps.
i like it how you stick to God the way you do. That shows God can work with you.

The thing is that I don't feel left out because I'm not a practicer of those things, bad associations spoil useful habits.

Because God is my Father. Are we not supposed to obey not only our earth parents but also God our creator? I love God and I do His will.
