'Atheism' is a loose term, all it means is that they don't believe in the existence of gods. Therefore, it would be possible to have two atheists who disagree about absolutely everything (apart from whether or not there are any gods).

Well, Atheists don't believe life was created. So why would they come up with a reason how?

The concept that everything has to have a beginning and an end is a very human notion. What makes you so sure that there was nothing at some point and then everything was created. Maybe life, the universe, and everything has been around infinitely.

Before you dismiss the idea as being ridiculous, ask yourself, who created God? If he wasn't created, he must have been around infinitely. If it's OK for you to believe God is infinite, why is it such a stretch to believe the universe is infinite?

I'm a Taoist... so there's a lot of things I believe.

I leave science to continue to work on figuring out the exact mechanics, but essentially I believe the universe is infinite, which means there wasn't necessarily a beginning. Life is something that happens as one of the many possible qualities of the universe.

Life was created the same way anything is created... using the natural laws of science and nature. Scientists are very, very close to making life in the laboratory from non-living things. The way nature made life from chemicals, heat, electricity, etc. is similar.

Depends on the person: one could argue that evolution pretty much explains it all, others could say that life has always been, still others could argue any variety of nuanced arguments that amount to one of the previous or creation without the necessity of god-figure, but merely as a function of a subjective reality and existence spontaneously coming to being. Really, who knows anyway?

Atheism isn't a religion with a set of defined belief, so not all atheists think the exact same things. I personally don't know a lot about the origins of life, although I think that modern science has a fairly good grasp on it.

We're not sure how life was created, but just because we don't know something doesn't mean we have to make stuff up.

Well, when a mommy and a daddy love each other very much...

Oh, right, not what you meant. Anyway, we don't know for sure. There are lots of theories though, look up abiogenesis.
