Why don't you believe Hercules is real? HIS story uses real locations in Greece and elsewhere as the backdrop, and he meets some historical people, so therefore I should believe his whole story is true? Likewise with Jason and the Argonauts, and Helen of Troy...

I mean, they proved the Trojan war occured, so I should believe that Ares and Athena fought on the battlefield as recorded? That Helen hatched from an egg? The problem with using real-life details to validate the Bible is that it proves too much - by that criterion, you'd have to believe any myth incorperating real-world places and people!!!

The realism of Christ is not because of places but because of History. Hercules is a tale, there no real evidence of his existence. WHAT A SILLY COMPARISON!

There is nothing in Greek mythology like the geographical and historical encountered in the Bible. A few references to actual locations and actual historical figures does not lend much credence to the Greek myths, but the THOUSANDS of such entirely accurate references in the Bible, and the archeology to back them up, is of course unequalled in any other religious book. You must at least concede that the biblical writers went to great pains to try to CONVINCE us of the veracity of their writings.

By your question here today you have proved to me that you believe Christ is real, if you didn't, you wouldn't be here asking it, Jesus loves you, he died on a cross for you, did you see the movie passion of the Christ, a roman crucifixtion is a bloody thing, but that is exactly what Christ suffered for you, an agonizing death so that you could be saved and spend eternity with him in heaven, He arose from the grave and forever washed away our sins, all we have to do is accept his free gift, Jesus said in John 3:3, except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of Heaven, we must accept Christ by faith, his grace is sufficient for us, just say this simple prayer, Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. If you have any questions just send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

I have not heard them, or experienced anything regarding them. I have heard God all my life, ever since I can remember. There is a still, small voice I hear in my heart, not through my ears. It is gentle, loving, and always correct. He sooths, calms, clarifies, and loves. Spiritual experiences are not easily lent to words. It’s like explaining colors to a person blind from birth. How to express feelings, unless you have felt them? Just because you may not have not "heard" this voice, does not mean it isn’t happening. It simply means it has not been experienced, or perhaps it has gone unrecognized and honored.
Peace

Christ is proved to be real through faith alone. You must open your heart and be saved or burn in the lake of fire.

God cannot just wash away your sins. You must WANT to be forgiven and the only way to that is through Jesus. May you find Him.

God bless.

There seems to be enough evidence to make an educated guess that such a person existed.

What is did and what he was like, however, has been lost in Mythology.

I've never heard this argument before. But it's rather silly and nonsensical.
