Works come from faith. If you have faith, then you want to do the works. It doesn't work the other way around.

You have to start at the beginning of Rom.ch.2 and the whole thing is referring to how we are to be careful of the way we judge people. In it's round a bout way of speaking is the great judge, which is God, will in deed judge us the very way we judge others. And God's judgement will be far greater. cross ref. Matt.7:1-2. As far as v. 13 in Romans 2, you are running reference with James 2:17 what you need to run is James 1:22. " But be ye doers of the word, not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. v.23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass. In other words there's more to this thing then hearing (reading) the word of God and giving the minister an, "aman" from time to time because what he's saying may sound good. What Paul is saying and James is saying do what you read. Take for instance one scripture says if someone is hungry you feed them, if someone is in prison, you visit them, What you do to the least of these you do unto me. Be like Christ. Paul said to follow him as he follows Christ. You may write me if you find this helpful at; preachervan2000@yahoo.com. God Bless You.

this is my opinion, consistent with comparing Scripture with Scripture and likewise from analyzing numerous books on the subject. a million, Paul wrote a million Thessalonians somewhat early, in all risk 5-10 years in the previous the Corinthian letters. In a million Thessalonians, the context of financial ruin 4 is the believing ineffective whose bodies "slept" interior the floor. What Paul wrote in a million Thessalonians 4:sixteen is genuinely actual--while Jesus returns, interior the air, for His saints, the ineffective will upward push first, and, in accordance to the subsequent verse, we who're alive and supreme will connect them, and so we are able to be with the Lord continuously. Did you study the subsequent numerous verses, or the completed context? 2. Now in 2 Corinthians 5, Paul is discussing the guy believer and what takes place while a believer dies. The believer is going to be with the Lord. lower back, i'm valuable you observed the verse that stated if Paul become absent from the Lord, he become interior the physique, etc. So there's no contradiction, those verses mirror 2 diverse factors of a believer's dying, could a believer die in the previous the Rapture. The physique is going into the floor and the soul/spirit is going to be with the Lord. while the Rapture comes, the physique is raised, and joined to the soul and spirit, and is going to Heaven.

Without actions, taking that risk, a step of FAITH, (works), it's nothing. You can give, bless, heal, everything, but if you do not love then it is nothing. Faith comes with good works. We cannot stand around here being a cute Christian. IT IS TIME to go out there and minister the Gospels to the unsaved. Take a step of faith, a risk, for works of GOD brings great reward.
Father's Love,

Yep
, faith without works is dead and unsaving and in the end devoid of grace , which is the only "thing' that saves.
Saving faith, hope and love are always together(1 Cor 13)wh

The faith part: Faith is very key in our love for God. If everyone could see God, or touch Him, it wouldn't be very difficult to know that He is God.
The works part: By our works we will show who we stand for.

Works are important in the Christian life but we must remember if our works fail us at judgment we are still saved by faith.

Absolutely. When faith comes first, works should follow naturally.

Absotively.
The confusion is with good works. Good works alone (without faith in God) are filthy rags in His holy eyes. We must do good works IN HIS NAME - TO GLORIFY HIM - AND NOT OURSELVES.
