Of COURSE not! You are a responsible person. You will not drink and drive. You may do exactly as you choose about what you drink, when you drink, and with whom you drink! (Jesus was a big fan of wine, as I recall...)
}:>
Moderation in all things. If I remember correctly, the Bible only addresses drunkenness. I do not, somehow, picture you as a falling-down, sloppy drunk. However, (also as I recall), forgiveness is only a prayer away.
In case I forget to say it on the 27th:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! a wee bit early! Now get out there and CELEBRATE!

Drinking in itself is not a sin. Getting drunk is. But 1 Thessalonians 5:22 Says Abstain from all appearance of evil.
Drinking has the appearance of sin so it should be something you would not want to do.
God Bless

It is a "sin" if you think it is.
If in the drinking you feel you have lost your connection with God, then yes, that is the sin.
The sin is "doing" what takes you away from your connection with God.
If you can maintain your love of God, your connection to the divine, then have a drink.
We are here to discipline ourselves, to stay connected and know the love of God, not necessarily to live a life of denial.
That is not living truly, if that is how "it" feels.
The knowledge will come to you as you live your truth in God.
Blessings to you

Catholics are not anti-alcohol, so I would say 'enjoy'! There's a difference between being falling down drunk and being tipsy, and as long as you are not committing other sinful acts (drunk driving, etc), I think you are fine.
Happy Birthday!

One of Jesus' miracle was changing water into wine at a wedding party. I really don't think He minds if you have a drink or two. But I am sure He kind of frowns on getting fall down drunk. Drink safely and don't drive!

1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.
3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.
7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.
9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.
----------------
Jesus's first miracle was turning water into *good* wine. I think that's a strong seal of approval, just don't overdo, or drive.

No it is not a sin. If you get drunk maybe. Noah got drunk after he built the ark and I think some bad stuff happened because of it.

I woud say it is not a sin to drink unless you drink to the point of excessive drunkenness or you get so blasted you harm your body or you hurt someone else or you lose your rationality to the point that you are not in control of yourself to the detriment of yourself and others.

we don't deny you the Eucharist -- YOU deny the Eucharist. you're saying this is not achievable for the bread and wine to enhance into the real physique and Blood of Christ. you're saying that the Eucharist isn't a real Sacrament of Christ, surpassed down from Jesus in my view to the Apostles, who surpassed it down in non-end succession to the monks and bishops of the Church on the instant. in case you agreed that the Eucharist is what Jesus suggested it truly is, and in case you have been prepared to publicly attest to this and make particular your ideals with sacred vows, then you definately would desire to get carry of the Eucharist.

No. It is not a sin. It may not be beneficial. But it is definitely not a sin. I would try not to get drunk and make a scene.
