I have been called a communist numerous times for being an atheist.

"Nature is what we know. We do not know the gods of religions. And nature is not kind, or merciful, or loving. If God made me -- the fabled God of the three qualities of which I spoke: mercy, kindness, love -- He also made the fish I catch and eat. And where do His mercy, kindness, and love for that fish come in? No; nature made us -- nature did it all -- not the gods of the religions." Thomas Edison

"The Bible is not my book nor Christianity my profession. I could never give assent to the long, complicated statements of Christian dogma." Abraham Lincoln

"I have found Christian dogma unintelligible. Early in life, I absenteed myself from Christian assemblies." Benjamin Franklin

Would you call Thomas Edison, Abraham Lincoln and Benjamin Franklin communists????

I am doing a research work on the subject of "Time" in which, a certain animal stands out as a universal icon of time for humanity throughout the ages.

OK are you suppossed to pray to the saints, because i thought that praying to anything but anyone but God was considered worshipping other people besides God, and that's against the 10 commandments. Will anyone please explain this to me? PS do you pray freely to them, like you do to God, or do you pray already-thought-out prayers, if so, can someone send me a link? Thanks! ^_^

Knowledge is fact and evidence based. Faith is the belief without evidence. If one has knowledge about something, one cannot have faith in that same something.

Due certain god believers who claim knowledge then lack faith?

In Luke 20:34-36, Jesus is recorded as saying that people in this age marry and carry on their lives. However, He says that people who are worthy to enter this age to come will not marry. He also says that they will be changed in the resurrection, that they will be immortal, with spiritual bodies like those of angels. They will live forever. When Jesus uses the word marry, is he refering to marriage?

I know that in the LDS church doing it solo, watching sexy movies, and anything that has to do with nontraditional (within marriage between a man and women) sex is a mortal sin.

But are LDS Mormons permitted to view sexy movies under special circumstances? For instance if it would save a marriage or save a young man from committing rape against innocent young ladies?

I ask this question here because my friends are here.

My new account; the one I opened because I was so afraid of this one getting deleted, is gone. My answers are still here but I cannot sign in to them or to my questions. I cannot sign into my mail account. I've checked my blog through this account and that is gone too, though the old page is still there.

I have been appealing violations on this account for awhile now to absolutely no avail. I recently received three violations on my newer account and was attempting to appeal two of those. Now, it won't even let me sign in to mail. It's obvious to me that my account has been deleted as my blogs are gone.

I have a feeling about who has been reporting me SO much that I should have been deleted, but that matters little. What can I do about this? There was no suspension letter, no nothing. I have tried writing to the answers and mail admins, but nothing.

This beyond sucks. It's pure sh*te. Anything I can do?

It began in March 2005 and ended in mid May. About 20 peopel from each faith participated in writing the dialogue which was five rounds. The five dialoges are found in this link
http://groupdialog.org/humanrights/results.htm
but most interresting is this last dialogue written by Muslims and Jews together:
We have agreed on the need to place activism in behalf of human rights at the center of our shared agenda, to honor each other's faith traditions, to promote respect and understanding between our communities, to actively interrupt the teaching of hate and to create activities and actions in Southern California which could further these agendas in our local communities and in the Middle East. I would like to see us focus on several areas:

1) Establish spiritual partnering between local synagogues and mosques for the study of text, history and values that emphasizes Muslim and Jewish convivencia.

If there were two Jews living around the time of Christ. Each of them followed the old testament law for their whole life and redeemed all of his sins through blood sacrifice as stipulated in the law of Moses. One of them died the day before the crucifixion of Christ and he went to Heaven. The other died the day after the crucifixion of Christ, and he went to Hell. Is this an accurate story according to Christian theology.

This is not just for Christians, its for anyone out there who makes factual statements about there beliefs.

Last time I checked a belief was what you believed to be true.
And a fact was true. They are two different things. Stating a belief as a fact is complete ignorance.

Why are mixing beliefs with truth?
Isn't this disrespectful to other beliefs?
Isn't it just plain wrong?
