how is Fox News tied into the evangelical coalition and other corporations / agencies like the Heritage Foundation or members of the PNAC?

Because they need to see the media as part of the vast conspiracy against them that doesn't exist. Christians need to feel like martyrs.

Soldiers in Iraq say "screw the media" because the left wing media only promotes how the negative aspects of the war. Fox is right wing and many evangelical Christians are right wing.
Personally, I am a Jewish democrat but I think Fox is the most fair network out there. CNN is a joke and MSNBC spends so much time slamming Fox that they have become a parody of themselves.

When they say "screw the media" the soldiers in Iraq mean the left wing media like BBC, CNN, NBC.
FOX is the one only giving the soldiers a fair chance by also showing the good they do, rather than mostly negative stuff like those other networks. If anything the soldiers like FOX.
Its so obvious you are trying to make FOX and those who watch it look bad but thats not the case. FOX is actually more fair than you think, ---thats if you have courage to see the truth of the matter.

What is more important is that our troops have our support, and that we treat them with respect. They know better than we do of what is going on over there, and they are the ones putting their lives on the line and serving their country, and dying for their country. Let's focus on the most important issue, which is getting them back home, soon and safely, and giving them all the care they need when they return.
