now she's saying that he's the devil, cuz he's taking us away from her. we make little perverted jokes (alot of people do) and she hates that, cuz it says in the bible that you shouldn't do that. I say that the bible says TRY. not DO. it also says to love everybody. she's not liking him. she calls him so many things and she's run all of us friends away except me. i think she's getting really annoying, but i've known her for over 7 years, and her parents trust me and basically love me.

Why The Christian God is so exclusive? Why did he create so much for so little?
I have read the bible. I was even a follower for a time.

He reminds me of most of the pagan Gods that Christians tell you are bogus.
Does it not seem a waste? Waste not want not I always say.

Yes, there HAVE been refinements to make your time more Hedonistic, your lives more leisurely, such as this computer, Plasma TV, MP-3s, fast Japanese motorcycles, "safer" autos; the list is seemingly endless.

Yet, I can & do recall a time when life WAS much more pleasurable, simpler, even safer. When there was much LESS Murder, Rapine, and Rampage; there were LESS frivolous "Laws", LESS Police, LESS burglar alarms. A time when the worst "Terrorist" event was a deluded Cuban hi-jacking a plane "home" to Cuba! A time where there was much more emphasis on "service"; a person could buy a gallon of gas & still get their tires & oil checked, & windshield cleaned. A time when "411" calls were FREE & Operators were friendly, helpful, & HUMAN. A time when one could STILL be proud of their President, when most people were still unfamiliar with the words "Incompetent" & "Buffoon".

MY QUESTION STANDS: Are we all now just simple-mindless SHEEPLE distracted by Technology?

They use grape juice and crackers for communion?!? Am i missing something here, or shouldn't they be using real wine and bread like in the Bible, since they think God's such a stickler for details? This is one of the reasons I'm not a Christian... too many damn nitpicking rules, and if you get one little detail wrong, you still go to Hell...

I'm a pretty strong person but being human, my human nature tends to get VERY frustrated. I wear the hijab and the abaya (whole covering). But it's not so dramatic I mean I look pretty decent not that I care to please anyone. But college is becoming a huge burden because people can't keep their comments and their stares to themselves. Sometimes I want to turn around and ask them if they dont have anything better to do.

People here talk about extremists being a threat to society etc... They don't notice the hell everyday normal Muslim folk have to go through. I know this is my test-- and I will never remove my hijab-- but what do I tell myself IN THE MOMENT. How do I control my frustration right after someone spits at me?

And for the Muslima's, can you please tell me your experience with hijab? So far, mines isn't that positive.

But hey, what doesn't kill me makes me stronger.

There's no evidence that proves that evolution exists. For example, I know that this computer exists because I am sitting here typing on it. I can give a set of coordinates that point to the computer, because it exists.

So where is evolution? You can't point to it, so it must not exist. And I know all you people will tell me that I can't point to God, but God lives in the sky so when I point upward, I am pointing at God.

Has anyone ever felt or touched an evolution? No! Because it doesn't exist. If evolution exists, why doesn't it show itself? Because it's not real. If evolution existed it would answer prayers but it doesn't.

This proves that evolution doesn't exist. But the Bible does. Therefore, the Bible is literally true.

Take that, semantic-lutionists!

If someone tries to convince someone that Islam is wrong, why does someone always says, "look!! Look! Look how that white person converted to Islam!" or, "Look look! Islam is growing and it's the fastest growing religoin in the world!"

Why do Catholics confess sins to a priest or bishop?
This is based on three simple Biblical principals:

1) Christ gave this authority to His apostles: "As the Father has sent me, even so I send you....Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained’" (John 20:21–23) (Elsewhere the Bible even says that God "had given such authority to men" Matt. 9:8. )

2) This authority was handed down from the apostles to their successors, the bishops, through the laying on of hands: "Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through a prophetic message when the body of elders laid their hands on you" 1 Tm 4:14, "Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ" 2 Corinthians 5:20

theres no denying something very spiritual happen back then but how do we know that the man who claimed to be jesus wasnt from another spiritual leader,i mean jesus was in hiding for years most of his childhood.they say king herold wanted him dead.what was he so frightened of.what if jesus as we know him was actually one of heralds men.sweeping the nation, how do we know the real jesus wasnt killed because he was sent to stop the distruction here on earth.i dont beleive he rose from the dead. i beleive he will rise when the truth is discovered.
