I am a morbid person. But a believer in the Lord and the Holy Spirit. But other spirits too. I really don't believe that Ouija boards work though. I've never tried one, personally, but I think I would like to, just to prove people wrong. But what if they are real? I don't want to have to live with a bad experience forever. As they say, ignorance is bliss. If you would like, please share your personal experiences with me. I want to know.

arent gays just going to hell period? Many religious people say that its not being gay that makes them a sinner, but acting on that sin is what makes them a sinner. But lying to the world and saying they arent gay, and living a heterosexual life is just as bad isnt it? Considering all sins are bad in the eyes of god, why would practicing homosexuality, but lying about being gay but not practicing it be any better? This is what many christians, religious, and polical leaders have told homosexuals they should do, not practice it, but lead hetero lives...but that means they are lying. So, people who are gay, are going to hell period, there is just no way out is there?

I really like it. Since I'm something of a science-minded guy (slide rule), it calls me to remind myself of the difference between true faith in God and some kind of "poor man's insurance system." In your answer, pay special attention to that last sentence.

Notice how the very first one says "innocent human being". That means any homo sapien that walks on two feet, no matter what skin color or what they believe. For those who don't know what a homosapien is, it's a male or a female human being. What is your take on this?

So some people say that humans were not created ..rather were made through evolution of a single cell... Now..I'm not asking were that cell came from in the first place. I'm asking how did the cell know were to go from there? I mean..the neucles is obviously just working for the survival of the cell. There isn't much proof of a cell deciding to come together with its friends to form a human..or is there? I think cells don't have the brains for that... or do they?

Again I'm only wondering..I'm open to ideas and beliefs. I'm a curious person who loves listening to people..so please ..don't get offended.

They could be questions about their deity, their holy text, their political points of view, their personal lives, behaviors, feelings, etc, etc, etc.

I may be attending a Christian discussion group meeting and if I'm not going to be arguing or disagreeing, I'd rather ask a few questions and let them suss things out amongst themselves. It's sort of like bringing Y!A R&S into the real world!

In fact, those in these studies who KNEW they were being prayed for, did WORSE in the long run. What other evidence do you need?
How many times do you need to be bitten by a wild dog before you decide not to pet it anymore?
How many times does a snake have to bite you before you decide not to pick it up anymore?

The evidence is right there, in the links above. All you have to do is read them and find absolute proof that prayer does not work. Period.
Will you do it, or will you throw silly quotes at me like, "Its not for us the question the mind of god" or "I don't know about all that, but prayer DID work for me!" (Did prayer really help you, or did you really just elp yourself?)

I'd like some solid, TANGIBLE answers here folks.

This is not a typical question, compared to my other ones, however, I have to know the answers to these questions: Should a Christian date someone who claims to be a Christian, but does not go to church, does not drink, smoke or the like, but does cuz and not read the Bible or pray. Two, how could a man romance a lady in todays world without a dinner and movie,(so worn out), and how do u know when God has sent u the right help-mate? I know a lot of Christians disagree with media, like a lot of the music, TV, movies, and what all is in them. They say they don't like the sex, drugs, all that stuff. I've heard a lot of people in reply just say, "don't watch it so you can't complain." I'm just wondering how many of you agree with this statement and would say it or have yourself.

i'm a middle eastern christian female, and my husband to be is a muslim and lives in saudi arabia.
i'm not perticularly religious.. i mean i do pray and all, but i'm so uncomfortable with public display of religion,
and my husband to be (who by the way is an amazing person and i'm so in love with him!) prays 3 times/day.
i totally respect that fact, but i'm not sure i can handle it. i've never been exposed to such a behavior before, and in saudi arabia, it's all i'm gonna be exposed to.
can anyone please help me clear my mind? my man is the most amazing creature to have ever existed ever, and i so want this to work out between us.

And did you know that the suicide bombers are burning in hell for killing themselves and innocent people? We've heard stories on various "haunting" shows where those who passed from suicide were still "around" having to do it over and over again. It sounds crazy, but this hadith makes me think maybe they're not so far off. What do you think?

Islam strictly Prohibits committing suicide

Those people who perform these suicide bombings have wrongfully committed suicide, and this necessitates entry into the Hell-Fire, and that this person is not a martyr. Also the position as regarding activities of suicide, tying explosives to themselves and then approaching innocent people and detonating them amongst them, then this is a case of suicide. So whoever commits suicide then he will be considered eternally to Hell-Fire, remaining there forever, as occurs in the hadeeth of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
