What would you accept as "proof"? Come on, it is a simple decision, either we have a soul or we don't. There is no "proof" either way nor is the any way to even study the question to confirm or disprove either alternative.
If we don't have a soul, then when we die, we are dead...if we do, then perhaps that soul can live beyond the death of the body. Pick which ever one you choose...for me, I prefer believing that some part of me will survive the death of my body...and if I'm wrong, I'll never know it (dead is dead)!

If you want philosophical proof, you have to seek it yourself, as to see the soul like this you have to understand what is the world, and what is not of the world. When you can recognize the world, you can see what is not of the world inside of you.
If you want physical proof, you'll have to wait till death, when your soul will de-manifest its self from the body. Until that time, there is no way you can percieve it physically, as physical senses of the body can only detect physical matter.
Also it is said that if you search for God, you will find yourself, and if you search for yourself you will find God.
If a person looks in the mirror every day for the rest of his life, and each day he asks himself: Do I really ''feel'' any older?
A person see's God (with spiritual eyes) when they realise the world, and then they wonder how come they came to dwell in such poverty.
Your soul is to God; as a seed 'within a fruit' is to a tree: Your soul's seed must grow in order to become a full tree. The seed must take root in fertile ground (the word of God) in order to grow. Then you will realise the roots of a tree support the branches, and twiggs, which support the leaves. For a strong tree is a resting place for all the birds of the sky. When the seed grows in good soil, and avoids the weeds and the animals, and grows up tall: When you become like a tall strong tree, then you will see yourself, and realise God.
Think of it like this. When you play a computer game, you control the character. If you were hooked into the computer (like virtual reality), but couldn't tell you were hooked into the computer, and thought the computer game was reality,,, how would you be able to tell the computer virtual reality avatar you control isn't you. Remember, computer avatars can only obey the rules of the program, one is limited by the control interface (which in our case is human brain).

If you feel really good when you do something nice for someone, then you have a soul. Your personality comes from your soul, so does love. Beyond that, I can't give you proof that you can see or touch but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

the proof is exactly the same as the one for NOT having a soul - so just go ahead and prove that...

You never have to think or pay attention to actions like breathing and beating the heart. Every thing else you must be an active participant in. What is the mysterious core of BEING? What is the Life inside you that you never notice, by looking at the story of the life?

(Genesis 2:7) 7Â And Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came to be a living soul.
Your Bible says almost the same except it has omitted Gods name. In the original text it is mentioned over 7000 times! What a shame what we have done to our creators book.

I like the definition of a "soul" as the will, intellect and emotion of a person.
If you have those, then you have a soul.

Science has spent a lot of time looking for something that you could call a soul and has always come up empty. There isn't the slightest evidence of it at all.

William D- Love is a chemical reaction in the brain of recognition. Pleasure chemicals are released when we see someone we recognize all the time. For certain people a much higher dose is released. Love is just the word we use to describe that certain feeling... just like time is how we describe duration.
