Yes.....and I hope people will read this because maybe it will help someone. My marriage fell apart because of this internet...but the problem was really "us". It is just such an easy temptation...you can be anyone you want to be, don't have to have money, dress up, go out, you can just "connect" on here with everybody. It can give you like a drug effect....in some areas....but then you need a constant "fix". We have resolved this part of the problem by having the computer out in the living room where everyone can see as they walk by...which helps all of us....kids included! We also have access to all passwords and DO CHECK often. Yes, it is still a temptation. We stayed off- line for awhile but you sorta HAVE to use it for stuff....school...just about everything. It's like eating...if you are overweight...you can't just "not eat"...so the temptation is always there. Yahoo answers has helped some since you can still connect with people but not be too personal. We are avoiding chat rooms b/c even if you plan to behave....others do not. So.....BE CAREFUL!! We did not plan to have a problem either.....

In the same way that hanging out in the library is a temptation for people.

If it wasn't for the internet, I would be sitting in a library right now, searching for HOURS for the info that I can get in 1 second online.

Yuppers that internet do be tempting
so is strawberry shortcake, cheesecake
and double chocolate Brownies
and scented roses
and lush green lawns
and sunsets and sunrises
and the smells of new cars
and the waters on a hot sunny day
and a fireplace on cold ones
and puddy cats and lambs
and wagging tale puppies
and guys that aint afraid to hug
and girls that smile so sweetly with such enchanting eyes
and necklines that make you look
and even to tiptoe
and brown paper packages all tied up with string
they sure do tempt
aint it all so wonderful?

Yes, I'm tempted to spend far too much time online.

And I never fail to fall into this temptation. Ever! :)

Yes, a shoot up a little more internet every day. I've tried to limit my intake, tried to go cold turkey, yet I get the shakes, throw up, and end up going back for more.

I am tempted to leave Yahoo Answers and never return. The general view is that everyone loves to argue and really have no desire to find truth!
