My heart and soul bear paved places. Since I could drive, I have gravitated towards asphalt as though to a magnet of another polarity. The asphalt under my tires finds a small portion of its likeness in the crevices of my brain, the solidity of my heart, and the mystery of my soul. In the moonlight, I love it back with every fiber of my being as we move together and leave all the chattering mundane inanities behind us.
I am paved.

I have always loved Eames designs, and I'm so glad that the Bauhaus movement is coming back into vogue.
No I've never been paved. I think it would hurt though.
