If they are, why would Christians want to stop gay people from doing such things? What could be more Christian or American?

Eternal Security is False and easily refuted. Many people want to believe in this doctrine but yet seem to fail to know that its dangerous and gives us a license to sin. This means that i can kill, steal, commit adultery, rape and without repentance i am still saved. This is sad and very dangerous and i believe it to be a hugh deception of the devil. I pray that people would really study on this subject instead of just listen to others, Their are way more scriptures that support "One can loose their Salvation" than people know.

Once Saved Always Saved REFUTED!

What does it take to Loose your Salvation?
http://eternalsecurity.us/lose_your_salvation_in_two_easy_.htm

I ask all who are studying this subject to read this book:
"The Believers Conditional Security", its hard to refute and disagree with. The Eternal Security Doctrine is very very dangerous. God bless

It looks to me like the Bible says that it is an abomination to do this? Is there another place where it says it is OK? Or is this something that you just don't pay attention to? As I look more at the Bible, it seems as though people just pick and choose what parts of the Bible that they follow?

I despise going to church. My mom is a devout Catholic, and she has all of a sudden started demanding that I go to church. I am not Catholic, neither is my sister or father. My mom lets my dad do whatever he wants (they won't fight about it--married 29 years). For the past year or so, she has also allowed my sister and I to stay home from church. However, since my sister moved out (off to college on Wednesday), my mom suddenly began to insist that I go to church. I hate it. I am not Catholic. I see that the church is riddled with corruption and believe that many of the core doctrines are contradictory. I have repeatedly voiced my anger with her over this, and I refuse to attend mass. She will not listen to me in this matter, and just continues to insist that I go to church. She is DEMANDING that I go, and I am not going to be forced to do something against my will that I hate so dearly. WHAT can I possibly do to help her understand this WITHOUT me attending?

SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY.

Dr. Joe Fuiten, a leader amongst conservative evangelicals, referred to secularists as "illegal aliens" during an interview for CNN's "God's Warriors" program. When discussing the concern that evangelicals want to turn America into a theocracy, Fuiten stated that the US was founded on christian values and directed the following quote towards secularists, "You're the illegal alien here, not me." Below is a link to this clip from the show, if you're interested in watching it:

... This isn't a question. More of a statement that I'd like you to comment on.

Creationism can never be a science because it's method isn't scientific.

True science works like this:
- Observations
- Hypothesis
- Analysis of observations
- Conclusions
(+ new hypothesis if 1st hypothesis is proven false through analysis)

Creationism works like this:
- Hypothesis (of a Creator God in the biblical sense)
- Gathering of facts in accordance to hypothesis
- Conclusions
(+ new gathering of facts if current facts do not support hypothesis)

Thus creationism has no scientific value.

Thoughts? Comments? Suggestions?

I'm not a Christian, i'm an atheist, but do you know what bugs me most? Atheists that are always attacking Christians because of what they believe in. I have a lot of respect for Christians, i admire that they don't need proof to believe something, but atheists who act like that are just plain.........stupid. they need to get a life and grow up. anyone agree with me?

Please keep an open mind with these questions: I wonder why it is men who are Christians seem consumed by it, they will beat me over the head with their values. I'm in my mid-20s and a virgin, I want to wait until marriage for sex but can't seem to find a decent guy.... I beleive in God and beleive that all good things in life come through Him -- but I also love movies, books, and music, etc....I can't seem to find a decent men in NYC who isn't either 1. violent or untrustworthy or 2. a religious freak. I don't want someone w/ no morals but I don't someone who is so overly religious that our whole conversations revolve around this.

are there any guys out there who are single christians, who are not "extremely" religious? it not possible for me find a male who is like minded like me: I have 2 tattoos, a tongue piercing. Some Christian men hear this and reject it, I am still a good person, trying to remain virgin b/c sex is for marriage, imo. maybe I just don't understand religion...

I have seen posts on R&S accusing evolution of claiming we evolve from monkeys and that internal organs suddenly sprang into being inside of one single animal. Those questions inspire my question.

Let's face it... he created a Hell where unbelievers are to go for simply not being convinced of his existence. There, according to most Christians, they will be forever burned by flames.

I, a very imperfect human, would not wish that upon my worst enemy.

I'm not even saying he has to let them into heaven (it would be much kinder to just let them cease to exist).

Isn't it time Christians admitted that their idea of God is certainly not a very loving one?
