I'm just curious about this. We all know the bad stuff about Scientology through popular culture and reading about it on the internet.
I'm just wondering, are there any scientologist out there who can give a clear, comprehensive answer to my question? If you feel it is beneficial to you, how so? What exactly is auditing and how does it help you?
Are you given any proof to an alien presence or is it all just through belief?
I never heard anything good about Scientology except by Tom Cruise and I trust him about as much as I trust doctors and lawyers.

One is used more than the other and so much blood has been spilled in God's name use of it or crosses and such should have no affect so on The Devil so why not add new ideas to The Bible so things make more sense. Also why should Demons and Devils be any more obediant to The Devil than God or is there any reason why The Devil could not introduce democracy in Hell with voting and courts for all. Why should people limit themselves to what The Bible says either why not add something new about Hell to it like if The Devil is not into democracy that a revolution in Hell could occur .

If education doesn't recommend a person, but logic does then how do atheists come to the conclusion that the earth and all its contents, no matter how complex the system arrived at this point in time as symbiotic precisely balanced molecular structures that utilize non-biological energies such as sound waves, ultra violet light and gravity in order to survive. At what point did "natural selection" discover sound in order to create the tympanic system or systems for utilizing sonar/radar echolocation? At what point did "natural selection" discover color and utilize it to construct of the eye? Any eye...?And then, how can one answer this....how did the DNA know to select certain proteins for synthesis?How does is it that the chromosomes/genetic information for all living people could be contained in the space of an aspirin? I received a decent amount of money after my Dad passed away a few weeks back. Unfortunately i do not believe that giving money to a Church is the right thing to do. The one he attended just built themselves a 60 million dollar church and the pastor (casey treat) wears Gold and Jewels. So i dont think that they need any more money. I was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas on where to donate where it might do some good. I would prefer to donate where the money goes directly to Children in need. I also would like it to be a Charity that doesnt pay its employees. Thanks in advance for your ideas.

There are so many Gods to choose from. Different countries in the world have different religions with their own Gods, sub-Gods, prophets etc etc. Each one has its own history dating centruries with monks/priests trying to explain that they are real. Whom to believe? If I cannot decide why should I believe in the one I choose, am I an aethist? It is just that I am not able to find best religion or God. I hope consumer reports could recommend some.

How does this make you feel? How often does this happen to you?

I get bewildered sometimes when reading an answer, not because I am illiterate, but because I am just amazed at the illogic. I mean, I see what's in front of me, but it's hard to believe it sometimes.
It's not always a mean spirited answer, just an answer that does not address the question or is just totally illogical, like Miss Teen South Carolina.
Random bible passages, hypnotic rhetoric, circular reasoning, non sequiturs, nonsensical explanations, obvious contradictions, illogic, etc. Or its an answer to a question that you didn't actually ask. You ask a specific question but then you get a sometimes in depth, elaborate and thoughtful answer to a question, just not the question you asked. It's like they are avoiding answering the real question.
It's just frustrating when you ask a good question but it goes to waste.
Why do they answer questions this way?

Think about it, it is impossible for them to scientifically prove that God does not exist, yet they have faith that they are correct.

Do you have faith in your computer? Do you have faith that it will turn on? You can't prove that it will turn on, but you have faith it will do the things you want it to. Do you have faith that when you drop a ball it will hit the ground?

Atheists use faith too.

Does that mean that there are actually other gods, but that God is just the best one and that your not supposed to worship the other ones???? My best friend has been dating a guy for about 7 months. She is a catholic and he is a jehovah witness he told her that he could never marry outside of his religion, so if she wanted a future with him her religous beliefs would have to change. She is a very strong religious catholic and he has strong beliefs in his religion as well. but i don't think it fair for him to expect her to give up her religion to become part of his, when he has made it very clear to her that he would never give up his beliefs. is it fair to ask her to give up something for him that he wouldn't give up for her?
