In truth I believe sexual activity can be an art and should be treated as such. It is highly powerful in many ways and the heightened state of orgasm is magically transforming. Sex, the way most people do it seems a bit Neandrathralic and has its purpose of reproduction but done with wisdom this can be an act of spiritual endeavor.
Had it not be turned into a 'dirty little thing' many would be using their internal wisdom about when, where, and with who they do it with.
I also believe women, in their natural unsuppressed state, are much more highly sexual than men and if left to this 'natural' state the world would be a better place. Men would be far better lovers, men would be happier - getting laid more often instead of suppressed themselves-, women would definitely be far more happier, and this long forgotten thing called 'respect' would find its way back into people's hearts.
In this way I am 'ancient' fashion and strongly believe in my woman wisdom and no bonds hold me away from expressing my art form.

I don't know what the earlier question was, so I can only answer your direct question above. Sex is a God-given gift that is to be enjoyed in the way the creator intended; within the bonds of honorable marriage.(Hebrews 13:4, 1Corinthians 7:1-5)

In Islam sex before marriage is haraam(forbidden) and extra marital relations(having sex with more then one person at a time) is also haraam. Men who have more then one wife in Islam can only have sex with one wife at a time. Many men in Islam have only one wife as that is easier to take care of. If men do have more then one wife at most they have two wives. But that is very rare in Islam. In Shariah Law any woman or man that commits fornication(sex before marriage) can be whipped and any married man or woman that has sex can be stoned to death for adultery.

In Christianity, and other religions, sex outside of marriage is considered fornication and sex with a person other than your spouse adultery. Unfortunately, it's easier to believe in theory rather than in practice. That would be the case for many of us since the flesh is weak. If it was up to me, I would go by the book, but I don't claim to be perfect. Only God is. I think the rules were made to try our hardest to abide by them. If we falter, we can only ask God to forgive us.

Sex is natural and the decision of the individual.... for consenting adults. Children are not included in this as I feel they should at least first be knowledgeable about all consequences, etc...

Since I do not belong to any organized religion, I do not believe sex is sinful outside of marriage.
I do believe, however, that sex should only be had by those who understand the responsibility that goes along with it

I think that sex is to be enjoyed between the two people that were made for and love each other. It's to show that person that you love them, to fell good with them and to make babies.

No sex before marriage - and the purpose of it is to have a family and procreate.
Some who want to focus their life completely on God, choose to be celibate (I find this better than marriage).
