There the only folks I see preaching the word of God. They came to my house last week as same as last year and the year before. No other christian group has ever come to my house. What's up with that?

Jehovah's Witnesses are not saved Christians. They are a cult. But you already knew that. Enjoy your moment of trolling.

Noah preached for 40 years and no one listened to him. They made fun of him and mocked him.

But as Jesus said in the last days men would be just as in Noah's day eating, drinking and they took no note until the flood swepted them away. Luke 17:26

Some may feel that the door to door ministry doesn't work. Jehovah's Witnesses have doubled in the last 20 years and are conducting 6,000,000 bible studies each year. The figures say different. We are following Jesus example.
Matt 24:14; Matt 28: 19; Matt 10: 12-13; Acts 20: 20 & 21;
Acts 5:42 "..from house to house..without let up."

I felt the same way. That's one of the many reasons I was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness in Aug. 1996. When I needed help in my life no one else came knocking on my door. It was only the Jehovah's Witnesses who came to my door.

If other Religions claim to have the truth why don't they listen to Jesus? Jesus told us to GO AND PREACH THE GOOD NEWS OF THE KINGDOM. We have to go to the people and help them.

They are VERY devoted as a religion. I am a non denominational Christian... I don't go door to door because I feel that it turns more people away from God than towards God. I do however talk to and pray for all my neighbors- they know I am a Christian and if they have a question, my door is always open.

JWs are not Christian sorry. And many Independent Fundamentalist Churches do go door to door or at least to the homes people in the congregation suggest. It depends on the church. Most towns only have 1 or 2 Independent churches and maybe 10 to 20 in each go soul winning, since they travel in pairs that is only 5 to 10 teams a week (usually on Thurs).
Most people nowadays don't have the balls to look some one in the eyes and tell them they are a sinner. If you want someone to visit send me your name and address and I can get someone there usually

Most Christians don't use that tactic. There are some churches that actively evangelize in other ways though, like inviting people to church or to picnics. Many Christians hand out tracts with the gospel on them in shopping malls, on the streets, etc. I do agree with you though that most Christians don't do much for their faith.

AS a recovered ex Witness..I now as a Born Again Christian, Share the gospel almost daily with my clients. without pushing it down their throat.

When I was a Witness I HAD to get up every Saturday morning and Had to Perform public service...door to door..God does not want our forced gifts.

When I was a Witness, I thought that we were the only ones proclaiming the Gospel, but now as a Christian, i have the Holy spirit in me and am unable to keep quiet about the Love and Grace of our Lord....It is hugely different.

They have a christian guise. They are not christian! I've exposed their teaching several times just look at my past answers. They're trying to recruit you into their cult.

I can't come to your house cause I don't know where you live but can I get you to click a link? This link will help you out.

Really, everyone who respects and obeys Jesus Christ goes from door to door to teach his neighbors about the Bible's good news. It is interesting that only Jehovah's Witnesses are so clearly identified with the preaching work; globally nearly 7 million preach publicly each month.

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.

(Acts 5:42) Every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus.

(Acts 20:20) I did not hold back ...from teaching you publicly and from house to house

It's sad when someone who claims to respect the bible actually insults or even advocates attacking a peaceful preacher. Sad but completely expected.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching... You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

Really, if someone goes out of their way to disregard Christian preachers and preaching, what is he saying about himself?

(Luke 10:1-17) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos... “He that listens to you listens to me too. And he that disregards you disregards me too. Moreover, he that disregards me disregards also him that sent me forth.”
