I am a Christian and I do not go at Atheists. They have their beliefs and I have mine. If you at the pages of questions you will see a lot more Atheists attacking Christians in questions then almost anything else. God bless.

Okay, I can see you're a little confused on the issue, so I won't respond as insultingly as you asked. Just so you are aware, atheists usually don't have enemies in the christian spiritual realm, we find it too hard to believe that anything in it exists, including Lucifer. Most of us tend to view Lucifer the same way you view Hades/Pluto & Persephone. To us, christianity is simply the most recently believed of the Greek & Roman mythologies. Now, before you say that Christianity is rooted in Judaism, please, please, please, take a look at Judaism, find out what it traditionally has and hasn't believed. Find out how Jews interpret Jewish scripture, and then decide for yourself whether or not the character of Lucifer as believed in christianity is something that atheists need to be concerned with. The Satan, and Satan/Lucifer/The Devil are two completely different characters in two completely different stories. You may want to find out what the original was, so you can see how it's been changed.

The problem with that logic is that Atheists don't believe in Satan - Lucifer, Devil, etc. - either.

No, your'e a tad confused... the common enemy isn't Lucifer... it's groups like the christian coalition and the moral majority ( which is neither ) and televangelists..who can't understand the ever so simple premise of separation of church and state. The founding fathers wrote it down in plain english.

What puzzles me more than anything else is why it is that people seem incapable of forming the plural of the noun "atheist."
In answer to your question, I would point out that since atheists (see, it is possible!) do not believe in God, and God is reputed to have created Lucifer, atheists do not believe in Lucifer.

Uhh Satan takes away you freedom to chose? Last time I checked these so called "sins" restrict your freedom and what about this "church" I don't think lucifer makes you go to church he says "go watch cartoons and eat some cereal." God says "go to church and worship me instead of watching cartoons."

Well, I do agree that Christians and atheists should try and get along. However, atheists do not believe that Lucifer exists.

A belief in Lucifer negates free will. Without free will, how do you 'choose' God? Why can't people take responsibility for their actions?

Your question confuses me. First you ask why atheists and theists can't get along (which is a very good question), but continue by asking atheists to fight against a being in which they do not believe. The way to stop the disagreement is not to bring a belief of theists, but to understand that everyone has his/her own beliefs which should be respected.

If you don't believe in G-d or Heaven, then you don't believe in Lucifer or Hell either. Also, when we try to convence an Atheist of the excistance of G-d, we are fighting Satan for their lives. As one who believes that the Bible is true, it does say "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

Just a guess here but athiests do not believe in God so they would not believe in Satan either. True athiests just don't care. The evangelizing athiests (those who have the religion of athiesm more or less) will answer this and tell you why, I am quite sure.
