I don't. I am a Christian and I do not deserve to go to Heaven. Are you shocked? It is the truth. If I got what I deserve I would roast in Hell forever. Fortunately because of what Jesus did I am saved and can go to Heaven. Not because of any action of mine, other than accepting what He did for me, but because of what He did.

I know that I am not deserving of heaven- that is what makes God so incredibly awesome. Because , and only because of His great love, and the sacrifice of Christ on the Cross, can I be saved and call heaven home, when I leave this earth. So there is nothing that i can do , or anyone can do to deserve anything but hell, and eternal separation from God- otherwise- Jesus would not have had to die on the cross. He paid the price that I could never pay, so that I can have a personal relationship with Him here and now, and forever in heaven with Him. Praise His Name.

I don't deserve to go to heaven. I get to go to heaven because of the sacrifice of Christ on the cross, and my acceptance of him as my Lord and savior. It's called grace. Grace is God giving you what you don't deserve instead of giving you what you do deserve. So, my answer is, if left to anything that I have done on this earth in this life that was good enough to make me deserve heaven there would be no hope of me going. I get to go because Jesus thought I was important enough to give his life to cover my sins. For that I will be forever grateful.

I do not deserve to go to heaven. I am not a good person. The only reason that i am going to heaven is because of another. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

No one DESERVES to go to heaven!
If I got what I deserved, I would go straight to hell, not pass GO and NOT collect $200.
We enter heaven based on the perfect performance of Jesus Christ on the Cross and for NO other reason! All you have to do is to take God at His Word and BELIEVE it!
His death, burial and resurrection is ALL you need to be reconciled to God..He SAYS SO!
If even ONE sin was left out, He could not have risen from the GRAVE. THE PROOF that God accepted His sacrifice on our behalf is IN the resurrection!
So...heaven is a GIFT to anyone who will accept it! Someone else paid the price.

The Christian heaven? Oh, not me. I'm far too tolerant of homosexuals and I don't think that witches should be burned at the stake. They'd never let me in.

I don't think of it in terms of "deserving" heaven.
I'm going to tell you about something the happened to me as a young Christian. I kept beating myself up about things I'd done in the past, and couldn't quite see how I was forgiven so easily (i.e. just by asking for it). Such love was hard for me to comprehend. Then the Holy Spirit told me something that changed the way I thought about this. I was told to think of my forgiveness and redemption as a beautiful birthday gift; I didn't do anything to deserve it, other than know the giver. It was just a wonderful gift, handed to me by the Creator simply because I existed and Christ loved me. As a result of this, I quit thinking in terms of "deserving" or "working" for it.
I also began to pray that God would bless those that I'd hurt. This also helped immensely, as it relieved me of my guilt and benefited those that I had wronged in the past. It also instilled in me a desire to not want to hurt anyone in the future.
Christ's gift is free...no strings attached. It is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in our lives that makes us want to be Christ-like, not a desire to "work" towards heaven.
I don't deserve it. I just receive it; just like I receive the desire to be Christ-like in my daily life.

I don't deserve to go to Heaven. No one does, except Jesus. It is through faith in Him that we obtain grace and forgiveness sufficient to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
