Well, since they can't get married, does that mean that God loves them more than he loves us run of the mill heteros???????? omigosh that is so like totally unfair! I want to be the ***** on top!
My big bull dyke hairdresser with the pierced nose and purple hair and enormouus melons has been after my scrawny behind since like forever, so this settles it! if God loves homosexuals more, then THAT TEARS IT!!! I AM CONVERTING!!!!!

LOL...good one. ...but I don't recall God being the one that stopped gays from marrying...blame the government for that.
Personally, I have a huge problem with the idea of the government sanctioning marriage in any way. The concept of a "legal marriage" is repulsive...what right do they have to hand out rewards to (or put restrictions on) any person because they choose to share their life with another person.
I'm a Christian and I do think God warned all of us about the dangers of homosexual relationships...I think the decision to practice homosexuality isn't the decision God would have people make because of the potential dangers. However, I don't recall any place in the bible where God gave people the right to set up and enforce his laws on people that don't share that belief nor do I recall any command that any government issue marriage licenses only to citizens that met certain criteria.
The whole concept of legal marriage is a farce but as long as the government wants to stick its nose in the private lives of its citizens, they have NO legal right to ban gay marriage.

Well straight people get married too, so I don't think that this is a solid basis for reasons why God is "anti-gay". And just for the record, I have a hard time buying into the God hates gay people thing. It seems to be inconsistent with him loving people no matter what. And I don't believe he would hate people for being what they truly are.

I love these "if" question.
but I do find it funny that the Gays are upset because they can't get married, and the Heteros, are opting to forgo the ritualistic union, in favor of living together.
marriage should be a union of love and respect, wanting to spend your life with another person, instead of the legal binding contract that it has turned into.
now they have even done away with thee common law marriages in most states.
personally I think it is just another was for the government to put their hands in our pockets.

God is not "anti-Gay"..
People are "anti-Gay".
People are anti-Gay, because they believe the insurance companies' propaganda. Insurance companies really don't want to extend benefits to same sex partners. But they can't come out and say that, since that's discriminatory, so they enlist the right wing Christian nutjobs to push their agenda...
I believe that working with suckered Christians is proving to be quite financially profitable for insurance companies...

Dude, I went to a wedding the other day? Man. Stuffy outfits, endless babbling, and WORST OF ALL a cash bar instead of an open bar.
Maybe I can just find someone to shack up with, eh?

...I suppose he didn't think that one through when he wrote that law in the Bible. What verse is it, again? Apparently Clinton found it when he signed the Defense of Marriage Act in '96...

Thats like the guy who left nothing to his wife when he died, unless she remarried. He wanted someone to be miserable because he died.
