So, you know how there is that theory that your thoughts create your reality? how if you have good thoughts, then good things will come, and if you have bad thoughts, then bad things will come? Because each thought sends a tiny electrical impulse off into the cosmos, and somehow someway it comes back to you.(I am not hinting at God in the least)

So what if whatever we believe creates our reality? For example, if I 100% believe that there is a purple pony over in the field, then there actually is a purple pony in the field over there. Now, if i have a friend who 100% believes that there is no pony over in the field, then there is no pony. But what if the pony bends down and takes a bite of grass? The grass exists in my friend's reality, but the pony does not. So would the grass not exist either, because the pony does not and floating grass is impossible, or would he see floating grass?

Please, i dont need to hear im crazy or that this is impossible or that i should smoke less.thx

and just passed away. The guy was mad, and he was mad at God. Being an atheist, he had never prayed. He wanted to tell God off so he decided he'd pray just this once. He looked toward Heaven, shook his fist, and said "God, if you are so loving, so smart, and so powerful, why didn't you send us someone who would find a cure for cancer?" "Somebody conquered TB so why not cancer?" " Why not give us someone that knows the cure?" Just then this guy heard a voice and the voice said to him : "I already did." "I did send someone that knew the cure for cancer, but before he could be born, his mother had an abortion." "He never got the chance to do his work." ...I don't mean to sound cruel, I had a relative die from cancer. But, cancer isn't the real issue here...abortion is.

to fix some of their churches but not want to pay taxes?
in 2003 in califonia the central coast was rocked by a 6.2 earthquake in san simion. it severly damaged two missions.
one in san luis obispo and one in san miguel.
the curch was asking for the state of california to help rebuild or repair their churshes. not from donations from the people but from the state govrenment.
this is public record.
i ask again. why can you ask the tax payers to help fix your problem and yet not want to pay any taxes.
not everyone in califonia is a catholic so if you want tax money you should have to pay into those taxes.otherwise it just a form of stealing.

"3:45 Lo! The angels said: "O Mary! Behold, God sends thee the glad tiding, through a word from Him, [of a son] who shall become known as the christ [32] Jesus, son of Mary, of great honour in this world and in the life to come, and [shall be] of those who are drawn near unto God."

Regarding this, notice the title 'the christ'? I'm confused, because 'christ' is a title which indicates a position of royalty. Yet in Islam, Jesus is said to be a prophet - lesser to Muhhamed no less, PBUH. Yet Muhhamed, PBUH, was not royalty.

Please explain.

It pretty much saddens me that so many people nowaday consider themselves christians but yet their is no spiritual growth at all. Im not judging anyone but only showing concern as a fellow Christian. When we become saved, we can't stop certain things over night but the longer we are saved, their should be some growth, I really seriously can't tell if anyone has a relationship with God because we act just like the world.

Mat 7:21 ¶ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Mat 7:24 ¶ Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man,

Let's face it, there are many translations of the Bible. Some are from the Hebrew, some from the Greek, even some from the Roman texts, although they are in the English language for understanding purposes, how does one go about selecting which to read and study?

Wishful thinking? Belief without evidence? Trust, gained after previous experiences?

So when someone says, "I have faith in you" does that mean they are saying they believe you exist although there is no evidence for it, or does it mean they trust you?

Today we see violence similar to the scale of the Christian Crusades that were waged by extremists long before our grandparents were born. However, I see more of a fear by atheists of Christians becoming violent again, like many years past and very little fear of the extremists supporting and doing the killings of today. I can only assume they don't feel they are a target by Muslim extremists but are by Christian extremists.

I read on Wikipedia that most religions are non-profit organizations. I have a religion in its infant stages. Suffice to say, it isn't nearly as bad as Scientology, and at the end of church there's free pie. How would I begin to legitimize my religion legally?

I wish the state would have a lie detector for all the freaks who teach, and end up finding out they are bios, prejudice, and racist. Each child is this to the school districts and teachers $$$, dont give me this you dont get paid enough. People wake up teachers dont like their job. They should have went into a field they werent going to reagret. A teacher could eat in class, say dumb things to children and get away with it, get on the internet and goof off, the tough of who they are is creepy. So we need more people to help get these people to understand that they are with our children and we dont appreciate them helping bring down their self esteem, or scarr them mentaly for life. I advice everyone to seek pre-paid legal servicess and start taking legal actions to put these criminals behind bars...So who will help? Thats the question?

I've been told that the grave comes after death, the wages of sin is death, and after the grave comes judgement and if you don't make it into heaven the you are simply destroyed and go to oblivion.

However the vast majority seem to tell you that this Hell place is a place where you are alive for eternally and are horribly tortured by the devil?

God intentionally creates men whose future He not only foresees, but predestine! Take a look for yourselves!

Rom.8:29-30
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate.... Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

And just to make it clearer, look through these verses and try to deny predestination!

Eph.1:4-5
He hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.
2 Th.2:11-12
God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned.

That people actually believe in a God or Goddess? Or people who go around trying to impose their beliefs upon others. For example, Ideally if they were to believe would you rather them keep it to themselves or just not believe at all.

Note: I am an Atheist I would just like to hear opinions.

Ok If we have free will why is it in the bible everything has already been plan out for mankind. Do really have free will or is our whole life already been plan out. If we have free will then we have the power to change what goes on in the future with the whole antichrist thing. Then the bible would be wrong about our future because we change god's plan for us because of free will.
