This link may help for starters.

Life has a way of not presenting you with your 1st choice. Your ability to surpass obstacles (either going over, under or around) is what will lead to your success. Are you depressed or discouraged? There is a difference. Remain realistic about things like job interviews. You are not the only person applying for work. Just make sure that your skills are up to date and that you are prepared to present yourself in an interview.

Go in with confidence and if you don't get the job, then just move on. I know losing a job stinks and not having enough money is a real pain, but your time will come. Don't let a moment of "no" become a lifetime of sorrow.

Yes the Bible is good for stuff like this, it is good for every aspect of life.
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension will guard your heart and minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true,
whatever is honorable
whatever is right
whatever is pure
whatever is lovely
whatever is of good repute
if there is any excellence and if anything is worthy of praise,
dwell on these things."
Philippians 4:6-8

I want to reccommend to you a great book called "YOUR BEST LIFE NOW" written by Pastor Joel Osteen. I bought this book which has sold over 3 million copies since its dayview and it is filled with uplifting, insightful, encouraging, exciting information about how you are "Favored" and that being a child of God your favored and God will instill favor in the hearts of eveyone you meet and how his blessing are chasing and tackling you down? You need to proclaim his blessings and favor and live for him? First seek yea the Kingdom of God and "EVERYTHING" shall be added unto you! Thats not a lie my friend. Your going to find the right job or should I say the right job will find you and promotion within that job will come sooner than usual?
Because you belong to God he will not see you in mediocrity and don't live that way. His promise is to restore you unto victory and everything you put your hands to will prosper you. You will not borrow you will lend, you are not the tail you are the head. You are not beneath your above and Gods favor is yours and he loves you and he promises to restore you glory and honor. If you belong to God you will not wear clothing with holes in them but wear clothes that are worthy of you. Would you as a father allow your children to wear clothing with holes in them? I don't think so! You deserve the best and you will have the best. Do not lean on your own understanding for when you do you feel the way you do? Satan wants to lie to you and to make you feel unworthy and worhtless when your not! Have faith and trust in God to supply your every desire.

Thank you, God, for
You have Wisdom
when I do not,
You have Forgiveness
when I do not,
You have Joy
when I need it most.
You have Patience
when I try to run,
You Save me from myself.
And comfort my
sorrows.
Lord, I can rest in You
For there is no Greater Power than Yours
No Greater reason for Hope
No Greater Peace

The Bible tells us: “Throw your burden upon Jehovah himself, and he himself will sustain you. Never will he allow the righteous one to totter.” (Psalm 55:22) When faced with difficult decisions, we can imitate Jesus’ example. He spent a whole night in private prayer before appointing his 12 apostles. And on the night before he died, Jesus prayed so intensely that “his sweat became as drops of blood falling to the ground.” (Luke 22:44) The result? “He was favorably heard for his godly fear.” (Hebrews 5:7) Our fervent and incessant prayers will help us to cope with stressful situations and difficult trials.
