Yeah here is my opinion! The BBC Version of the office is soooo much better than the American rip off!

Mother Teresa did what she had to do despite her feelings about it. 70 years or so of despair, hoplessness, and disease will make anyone question who they are. I do a small volunteer job who falls into the category of what she was doing. I don't feel like doing it a lot of the time, but do it anyway. I am not fulfilled most days, in fact it makes me sad. I cry at night. I have liquid prayers. Have I lost my faith? No. I do this because I know it is what the Lord wants me to do. He groomed me with my own childhood to handle it. I can do it because I want to be good at it and make a difference and really care. Regardless of how I feel or if I want to snuggle with my cat that rainy morning... I really don't know if I could do it for 70 years like Mother Teresa. We'll see.

I don't depend on anyone else for my faith. Mother Theresa is not the only Holy person who has had a crisis of faith. How about the apostle Peter?

Some Roman Catholics act like they have to worship the woman. I am glad that she is showing her 'humanness'. She was just a human who had doubts. Any of us can have that. Maybe there won't be Roman Catholics worshiping her like an idol. Maybe they will wake up and see that all those people do not need "saint" attached to their name.
MAYBE, just MAYBE, they will start treating God with some respect by not praying to those who were just other sinners like us? Even if only a few.

I actually admire her a lot more now than I did. Despite her inability to sense God, she persevered in her work because she knew it was the right thing to do, not because she would receive any consolation for it. It may not have been the best work possible, but comforting the dying is better than some things people do.

Question:
You know she's dead, right?
Another Question:
If she did a lot of good in her life, was there really a crisis for her? Can anyone else dedicate themselves to such an act of total servitude for the rest of their lives?
What would happen to the world if it was full of Mother Teresas?
Some people are born to serve in that capacity that Mother Teresa could, others just have the prerogative to work in - for instance - an office.

One of the most effective and devastating things satan can whisper in a Christian's ear is doubt. Satan can not have your life or your soul...so the next best thing is to make you doubt and to steal your joy and your peace.
Mother Theresa faced monumental, constant in your face, poverty, hunger, abuse, and disease at every turn day in and day out. Even Jesus wept and was saddened by some of the things He witnessed while on this Earth. That Mother Theresa was honest enough to admit in her private journals to doubting herself and her ability to make things better shows her humility, humbleness, and humanness.
Her words, her actions, and her constant perseverance is what the world should remember. She did not let her fatigue, her illness, her private doubts or her private fears stop her from witnessing and showing Jesus love every day of her life.
Being a Christian, does not instantly shield us from trials, tribulations, fears, doubts, and worries. I battle those very real human flaws daily, but as I have told my children, do not EVER let the whispers of satan or this world impede or stop you from reaching and striving to be the very best you can be.
I have doubted myself, but I have never doubted Jesus' or His promises or abilities working in and through me and my life.

I am an atheist.
I am surprised, considering her public persona. But also consider that she received donations but chose to send them to the Vatican, not use them to give medical treatment to the suffering people under her care. Calcutta may have been horrible, but Teresa made some very immoral decisions when it came to helping others. She chose to let them suffer. Few doctors would do the same., and they didn't get in the international spotlight.
Alas, that is what religion and public relations does for you.
