why none of his apostles was a black guy? He never allowed any of his apostle to marry a black woman either.

Consider this. Would you want to live like the people of those countries do?

then why can't a single one of us choose to live without sin?

According to the Bible we are all sinners, no one is good. Only God is good.

#1. The appendix. "A" vestigial organ which serves a purpose
in lower mammals, but is useless in humans and is only good
for getting infected and killing you. Why did "God" include this
in "his" blueprints for humans?
#2. Hemorrhoids! This complex of veins in the rectal area causes no problems in quadrupeds, but in humans, our upright posture causes excessive blood pressure in these veins and causes them to become varicose. Why did "God" employ a system (optimized for 4-legged beasties!) in humans?
#3. Our eyes. the optic nerve starts in FRONT of the retina, obstructing a portion of our field of view (the "blind spot.") A design which is easily explained as a result of random mutation, but DESIGN? Then why does a squid's eye have a better design (with optic nerve BEHIND retina, no blind spot!)
Are not HUMANS the crowning creation of "God"? (Or is "God" a squid?)
Fill me in on this please! (I guess I damned myself when I went
to college. Should I have become a garbage man instead..?)

Luke 22:31,32 "And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: but I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren." This was just before Peter betrayed Jesus.

I am religious so please forgive me, but I have this 'conspiracy'.

why on Earth girls & women has all those period cramps and headaches but boys & men nothing????

yesterday I was talking with my friend and she said that I shouldnt worry, if she starts yelling, cause she had cramps. what about me? where are my cramps? oh right, I dont have a uterus, thats why. hm, but still, why I'm not in pain? I'm barely in pain. I'm happy when I'm in pain, seriously. why girls have all that abdominal pain but not boys? boys should also have something. and I dont count the pain when kicked 'down there'.

I remember when the puberty started, in the school they didnt mentioned not even one thing about boys having any pain or cramps. but when I read in womens health section, I just wanna hug every girl. why they have to be in pain? if He created us, why didnt He also gave something to boys too?

the only abdominal pain in my puberty that I remember was, when I ate too much. thats it.

Why is it hard to accept that we came from a God who is alive?

And I know the question("who created God?") is coming so let me go ahead and answer it...God is not a creation,we are,God doesnt reside in the physical universe so it's not neccesary for Him to have a creator.

Does it ever feel like no one really knows you or cares to know you and vice versa? Does this frustrate you because the Lord wants us to be one Body in Christ. Do you feel spiritually thristy as result?
If you can relate, what have you done to change this. Did you look into other churches or stop going to church altogether?
Is there such a thing as a church being metaphorically "dead"? And if so, give some examples.

I found this question in another area and thought it was great so I'm posting it! The more I live learn study and grow spritually I kinda go with evolutionary creationism! There are things (in the bible even...shshshsh) everywhere that show this to be truth more than any other theory. If God didn't make the world just the way we know it in 6 days does that make him any less amazing? I don't think so! I DO think God created the earth in 6 days but I'm not sure that there is a timeline between creation and the "fall of man". Time to us is (in my oppinion) a measurement of our lifes. If we didn't have a certain time to live then what would we be counting? So the time between the sixth day and the "fall" could have been a long time right? EVEN possibly a REALY REALY long time.
Scientist are now saying that the world went from almost nothing to the size it is in milaseconds! That sure does sound like Genesis 1 to me!
sorry I have to run, they are going to start throwing stones any time now

Understand that Paganis an umbrella term and you will only get my perspective. Perhaps other Pagan, et al will post a similar question to help you understand who we really are.

In the Book of Genesis, it's written that Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden. It does not say it was an apple. Was it an apple or some other kind of fruit? Judaism teaches that the fruit may have been grapes, figs, wheat, or citrons. Some researchers have said it was a pomegranate. Could the "forbidden fruit" have meant something other than an actual fruit or one that is no longer around today?

great results. I opened my Paganism up to questions from curious religious folks and as today I am in an email freenzy with three very interested people. They have no place else to ask those questions they feel might be 'stupid', no Pagan friends, etc.. We always go into their questions but if we gave others the opportunity to openly ask, since we don't really know who they are, they seem more willing. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to communicate with our friends in this way that those open minded have a chance to understand the truth of who we are.
What do you say? So many persepctives from us all would be wonderful.

I was saved about 13 years ago and was delivered from alcoholism by Jesus Christ. I was in a bad marriage and my wife did not support me in my changes and new Christian ways of living. The stress of this made me pick up the alcohol again. How do I stop? And please dont tell me to just put it down. Anyone who is a drinker knows this is not as easy as it sounds. I would like to hear from someone who has had a similar experience, and how did you overcome it? I would like to be back to where I started with my relationship with Christ.

Christopher Hitchens? Sam Harris? Richard Dawkins?

I've read all their books and listened to many of their lectures. I love all three and each contributes their own style to the cause. I would have to say that Sam Harris is my favorite personally. This is due to his razor sharp no holds barred logic.

...how is it then that David, speaking by the Spirit, calls him 'Lord'?

For in Pslam 110:1, he says:

"The Lord said to my Lord:
Sit at my right hand
Until I put your enemies
under your feet."

If then David calls him 'Lord', how can he be his son?
