great results. I opened my Paganism up to questions from curious religious folks and as today I am in an email freenzy with three very interested people. They have no place else to ask those questions they feel might be 'stupid', no Pagan friends, etc.. We always go into their questions but if we gave others the opportunity to openly ask, since we don't really know who they are, they seem more willing. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to communicate with our friends in this way that those open minded have a chance to understand the truth of who we are.
What do you say? So many persepctives from us all would be wonderful.
Blessed Be

Most of their questions are very surface, not knowing enough about us to ask any indept questions. This is NOT about recruiting! It's about sharing basic information to dispel what some may hold as true of us.

With no dogma and no centralized "church" authority, paganism is wide open for free, independent and creative thought, as it should be. Everyone's relation to the ancient spirits is unique and highly personal.
The downside to that concept is the fact that either we have so many voices discussing paganism that no one is heard, or we have too few speaking for too many.
I am more than happy to add my voice and ideas (such as they are) to the mix. But let's always remember that we are giving information only, and not advice.

I agree with you.
Although there are some traditions (and many eclectics) that prefer the mysteries of Paganism, Wicca, Magick, etc, be reserved for those who actually practice it and are dedicated to it. (They believe you should get your calling from the Goddess, then seek your own path...)
I, personally, have no opinion. After all, if it hadn't have been for those "out of the broomcloset" Wiccans, I'd never have learned so much about the beauty and essence of the Craft.
As long as we don't go around recruiting, I see no problem in answering questions. It may be just the thing some people need to heed their calling. :)
Brightest Blessings!

Moon, if you find yourself getting swamped, feel free to send a few my way. I love eductating members of other Raligions about what Wicca and Witchcraft is alll about. I am a member of our local Interfaith Council, and conduct education at least on a weekly basis to other Faiths. It's a GOOD thing that you're doing, Keep up the good work, Sister.
Brightest Blessings,

Hi sis,
That is great news and wonderful that they are interested in Paganism. I am happy to put in my 2 cents if they would like to get in touch...?
I'm available if they would lie to hear from me. But I know you are a very good and knowledgeable teacher and will give them fantastic information!
Blessings!
