Well, since I'm Norse Heathen, not Religio Romano, and a Vinlander to boot . . . I believe tonight I'll pay tribute to Dr. James C. Crow instead.

Dr. Crow, who deserves deified if ever a man did, was the inventor of the sour mash process of corn whiskey production in Bourbon County, Kentucky. The product of his genius is now known as Woodford Reserve Bourbon . . . sweet nectar of the Kentucky gods! :-)

Damn. Now I need a drink.

I only pay tribute to him during Mardi Gras as a general rule. Maybe tonite, I'll bust out some beads, and the hurricane mix and have a parade at home in my living room!

I am right now... though it's not wine I am drinking, but spiced rum. Capt Morgan I may decide later to dance naked in a circle (since I'm a woman, I can do this... men weren't invited to this type of ritual... probably why it was banned in Rome)
