OK, my 3 questions:

1. Have any Christians here lied to their kids about either of these evil figures?

2. Do you worry that your child, like the one in the story, will probably become a mass-murderer because of those wicked little lies you told them as a child?

Seriously I see many answers to my questions saying things along the lines of: "You can go to hell with the Devil" or "When you're in hell you won't be laughing".

Is this a pleasing idea in anyones mind?
If hell lives up to the description I would not wish it on anyone or anything, apart from "cockchafer beetles".

Kind of a cop out? I hear it a lot from more New Age theists. This basically means that instead of stating that your god is the right god, all gods represent 1 single god but the messages are all different but it doesn't matter what you believe because "All different paths lead to the same mountain top" Thoughts?

why is islam a danger to the world

These are the points,

1, A literal reading , understanding and practice of sunna and hadith

2, Emulating the prophet mohomed to the letter which is dangerous

3, not leaving ancient tribal customs behind and joining the new world order

well muslims as long as you stubbornely hold onto these 3 rules islam will continue to be a danger to the world , and only you muslims will have your own selves to blame for that faliure

I am confused, I know he was arrogant and egotistical(according to Bible). But I don't see him being cool with the idea of eternal torment anywere?

Didn't God casting him down into eternal torment essentially teach him the how to be evil(learning from example)?

I don't want to know if you believe in hell or what hell is.
I believe you can not make people follow you with there hearts by threats.
Do you think the churches apraoch to converting people wrong by saying follow or go to hell ?

Ther you go! "ALL liars." Have you EVER met any person who doesn't at least tell "white" lies? **Every sentient and conscious person older than infancy on the planet lies, *some* of the time. So -- pretty much everyone on earth, Christian or not, is inexorably doomed to hellfire, according to this passage, which provides for NO exceptions.

(And... "fearful?" Doesn't a passage in the Bible TELL us that we should fear God? So what is THAT all about?)

How do you become a voodoo doll?
How do you become a voodoo doll? How do you turn yourself into a living breathing voodoo doll and continue to live your life as normal? To be clear no I'm not looking for any costume nor makeup suiggestions. I don't want to play dress up. I want to become the real deal. I want to become a voodoo dollman. This is not a joke I'm serious I want to learn how to become the equivalent of a voodoo doll without becoming an inanimate object. I want to retain my humanity yet at the same time be a voodoo doll. I believe the golden rule fits hand in hand with the sense of karma and would become all the more so prevalent if I were one.

John 4: 7-21 talks about God's love for us - "This is love; not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins." But are there strings attached?
