Yes you are right he is a god but not God almighty, he is son of Jehovah tht most high (Luke 1:32 and Psalms 83:18), according to the bible all the sons of God almighty are called gods (Psalms 82:1-6) and he has many sons (Job 1:6 and 2:1) Jesus is the firstson (Colossians 1:15-17) so he is a son and a god , you are right, but not the almighty according to John14:28 and 1 Corithians 15:28, there are more than 300 verse in the bible that support this.

There's nothing wrong with calling Jesus God, he IS God. I don't think that everyone who can love have mercy and forgive others is a god, because than I would be a god, and I'm definitely not a god, I'm just a human being...There is only one God, split into three parts, God the Father, God the son(Jesus) God the spirit(Holy Spirit) Just one God that shows itself in 3 ways. Its called the trinity.

Yes, comment.

I don't really see anything wrong because according to my previous studies, a.k.a Theology classes and Eucharist homilies, Jesus is part of the Holy Trinity, the three identities in one person, namely, (1) God, the Father, (2) Jesus, the Son, and (3) The Holy Spirit.

They are all known to be the same person, even if logically contradicted by some Bible passages saying God sent Jesus to save us wherein Jesus took human form and came to live with all of us here in Earth. Technically, that seems to describe God and Jesus as two different persons, and that may be what's bugging others when you call Jesus God. They may believe that God is someone who is higher than Jesus, which is most likely to come up due to the way the event occur in the Bible.

It is difficult to explain how the three identities are only one person for they simultaneously act in the Biblical scriptures.

As for loving, being merciful and forgiving, yes, that's God, and that's Jesus as well.. so, let's leave it to the reader's comprehension of the stuff in the Bible and let him find out for himself if he should really consider God and Jesus different from each other.

(I flashback on my classes when on one meeting we discussed how they are only one person, and another meeting when we discussed how they worked with each other, haha. It's just too confusing to explain in one sentence, and even if someone can, it would be hard to understand him. These stuff are sometimes to deep for our minds, that's why we have a thing called FAITH.

OMG!! I sound like my prof!! XD

Any Christian can love, have mercy, and forgive others. But that does not make them a god.
Jesus, on the other hand, WAS God. Jesus is the Word made flesh, as written in John 1:14. In the beginning, the Word was with God, and the Word WAS God, as written in John 1:1.
God bless.

It is clear that some of these people do not understand or accept the Trinity of the Bible teaching.

Jesus Christ- the son of the Father God- The Holy Spirit are all three separate entities that work together to make up the one godhead.

Three in One= Jesus is God -The Father is God-The Holy Spirit is God.

When Jesus came to earth in a human life form that made Him not only God but God and Man. He also not only came to die for our sins but did this to proof that God did exists, tht their was life after death here so we should not be afraid of death and that He too suffered while He was here teaching those that listened. So He could relate to man and man to Him.

They don't want to believe for they follow not God but the lies of the enemy who keeps them in the dark.

Well Jesus and god are too different entities. Jesus is the son of god. You wouldn't want people calling you by your mother or fathers name.

Calling Jesus God is a rejection of real God who has no shape, image and likeness!

why do email me and say that you are an atheist and you don't believe in God and then you come in here and say that Jesus is God. You're weird.
