Emp, there are trolls here for sure and their Religion is that of Hate. They worship Hate, injustice, False piety, bigotry, and ALL of the other evil forces in the universe.

Then there are the Asatruers who worship REALTrolls, which are nothing like Cyber Trolls at all. REAL Trolls are benevolent at best and totaly detached at worst. Certainly nothing to be feared or hated.

Retro, my friend. YOu have it wrong about the Troll Patroll. They are a SUB-class of Trool in and of themselves, called vigilantees. These Trolls make the pretense at being benevolent, claiming to be try8ing to rid the world of offensive people, when in fact, they are out to eliminate ALL who disagree with their methods. They are NOT content to let the system, flawed as it may be, to work on the problems on it's own. They feel that THEY and they alone, are the solution to the problem. That of course, makes THEM the actual problem, which they are unable to realize because they have their blinders on and simply are unable to see the entire set of circumstances and only are able to focus on the event in front of them, ONLY.

Answerism has Trolls. They are the opposite of the Deity (who takes different forms, depending on the condition of the Leaderboard, currently Imacatholic).

There are also the Answerist Monks. These are usually depicted by their ironic names and orange badges, as are the Answerist equivalent of nuns, known as Vile Temptresses.

A little further down the pecking order are the Regulars. A bit like High Preists of Answerism.

Then we have the lay Answerists, people who follow the very basic tenets of Answerism.

After that we have the fundamentalist Troll Patrol, who are often regarded as nothing more than the servants of the Trolls.

Based on Y!A, it would appear that all religions, and non-religions, have cyber trolls in them. ; )

The Ancient Norse, have Trolls in their Saga's, so I would say that they are part of their religion....
