why is islam a danger to the world
These are the points,
1, A literal reading , understanding and practice of sunna and hadith
2, Emulating the prophet mohomed to the letter which is dangerous
3, not leaving ancient tribal customs behind and joining the new world order
well muslims as long as you stubbornely hold onto these 3 rules islam will continue to be a danger to the world , and only you muslims will have your own selves to blame for that faliure

These instructions exactly correspond with the International law. And every nation and every person or set of people has the right to self defence and to defend his/their property.-----as per law of the land.
You are not a free thinker but you have digested the things which you were given to eat.

1) The world was in dark ages, there were no limit for duty, ladies were killed as witches, court cases were solved by real wrestlers fighting, people were getting salt in their monthly wages as salary, only Baghdad, Spain and Turkish coins were used. Then this sunnah and hadith came as light for all the world and brought it upto this level.
2) Prophet Mohammad is the last prophet for all the world while all other prophets were sent only to their nations. Even Jesus himself has claimed that he is sent to the sheep of Israel.
3) Muslim are not following old customs. Islam was first voice against ignorance and old false rites.
Muslim are already successful having a big nation of 57 countries and a very big proportion all other countries. Last year 16000 chinese came for Haj in Makkah leave all other nations aside. That is why Napolean announced that very soon he will make laws of Quran in Europe. And learned Bernard Shaw said ":"He must be called the Savior ofHumanity. I believe that if a man like him were to assume the dictatorship ofthe modern world, he would succeed in solving its problems in a way that wouldbring it much needed peace and happiness".(The Genuine Islam,Singapore, Vol.1, No.8, 1936)

Even as a former muslim you believe you have the right to prevent non muslim's from being involved in the rights and wrongs of muslim faith.
There is only one answer that will allow us all to get on, that is to show RESPECT and stop thinking it is ok to kill.

I've seen your postings before and it always saddens me to see a Muslim abandon the faith of Islam. It is a tragedy to see someone turn her face from the Mercy of Allah in the name of "freethinking". It sounds as if you have had a bad experience with Islam and have decided to "throw the baby out with the bath water". Instead of realizing the truth of the Message and the flaws of the Muslims, you have decided that bad Muslim equals bad Islam. This is actually not a freethinking point of view but rather an anti-intellectual one, as to condemn a whole religion, race, ethnicity, or other group on the basis of some individuals is bigoted.
I pray that Allah guides you to the truth. Know that there is no God but Allah and Muhammad, peace be upon him, was His final Prophet and Messenger. Remember the hadith qudsi:
Hadith Qudsi 15:
On the authority of Abu Harayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Prophet (PBUH) said: Allah the Almighty said:
I am as My servant thinks I am (1). I am with him when he makes mention of Me. If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to Myself; and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of him in an assemble better than it. And if he draws near to Me an arm's length, I draw near to him a fathom's length. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at speed.
It was related by al-Buhkari (also by Muslim, at-Tirmidhi and Ibn-Majah).
I pray that Allah guides you to that which is best in this world and the next.
