...Does that mean the 2000 years since then is irrelevant?

There has been a sequel written. Quite recently, by the way.

However, it is tied up in litigation due to the numerous authors claiming credit for the original manuscript.

Movie rights have been offered and it would appear that Tom Cruise has been successful in the bidding. There may be problems due to his instance in having the whole ending, not to mention the beginning, re-written. The word is that he wants to play both parts. God and Jesus.

The buzz is that that for top box-office profits to be had, Nick Nolte must have the part of God and Chris Rock (in a come-back, and no doubt an Oscar winning role) plays the part of Jesus.

Tom Cruise is very upset about the studio interference and may withdraw from the entire project.

One can only hope that for the benefit of mankind, these people settle their petty differences.

If you believe in the Bible, then time-frames may be irrelevant (or at least not what you'd expect). And as for a sequel, anyone who arrived on Earth today and called himself a prophet or the "son of God" would likely be institutionalized. So I'm guessing no sequel is possible.

The Bible has been around this long because of fact is widely commonly used and this is even older than the Quaran. do no longer make relaxing of the Christians in here, because it incredibly is extremely unneeded. We, the actual Christians, do no longer discover this humorous. THE BIBLE isn't A advertising PLOY! extremely some the shops i understand that sell products that could desire to do with the Bible, frequently donate their money to an orphanage, a church, or perhaps those human beings in Africa that are too lazy to pass hunt for his or her very own freaking nutrition!

The Book of Acts does not have an ending, it is left open for what God has been doing for the last 2000 years.

Also the book of Revelation has covered the main historical points from then till now, but with its main focus on the last 7 years before the return of Jesus.

Certainly not but a sequel doesn't need to be written, it speaks for itself. Look what mankind did to the old and new testaments. As a writer, I once believed that I was destined to write the sequel until I became aware that my purpose is not to defend, accuse or confuse but to let it be. I teach the children the truth in fairy tales and fables.

I think history will write other books about believers in Christ. They wouldn't be added to the Bible, because the Bible is written to lead up to the life of Jesus and the time immediately after His death and resurrection. If you go to a bookstore, you will find plenty of "sequels" to what the Bible is trying to teach.

I am not sure. But still I will try to answer. By the time Revelation was written, John was 95 above age. That means, all the other 12 apostles and Paul might have died or have come to their end of their life. So no one was eligible other than them to add their works or letters in the Bible as per the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit only urged people to add chapters after chapters. During the last pages of Bible, Dark Age ie. the horror of martyrs happened. So no one was able to say that they were christians. After that long period passed by but God sustained the Bible by His everlasting mercy.
So by then, no one wanted to add it but just tried to read it. I think I have answered.

The pscho false prophets who founded Mormonism wrote one.

Honestly, Jesus appearing in Utah? After living in the Middle East the first time, wouldn't He have picked a non-desert area of the U.S. to appear? Say, Seattle on a nice, cool autumn day with delightfully crisp air.

Real 4 U Are,
GOD'S Sequel will be HIS SON's Return. You and I will be on our knees and will be judged at that time. The writing has been completed and HE expects all to obey. Your time is nearing an end. Find HIM before it is too late! Have a great weekend.
Thanks,
Eds
