I ask this because a few minutes ago, I asked a reasonable, polite question: Christians: can you back your religious beliefs with any book other than the bible?
If so, please list

One person said they dont have to and dont want to, another said that commentaries supporting xianity are out there..and the other believer said its just common sense.

Not one of them answered the question. What does that say about them and their beliefs?

I had a dream that I saw both Heaven and then Hell. I was up in Heaven and everything seemed serene and the people were happy. The music sounded like a synth orchestra and the air smelt like oranges. I then went to Hell and there was fire and people that looked like the bad guys on the original Doom were shooting eatch other close range with shotguns and fire was everywhere. The air smelt like New Mexico's (JP jet fuel, sulfur, and crap). What about your experience?

I'm of the assumption that God has created other beings like us but that they do not exist in our realm of existence, meaning we could never see them and they never see us. Perhaps we could see them in heaven. Its just an assumption though. Its fun to think about.

I'm aware of the studies that show atheists tend to have more education. I'm aware that more than 90% of the elite scientists in the world are atheists. But does that necessarily mean that everyone else is stupid?

I was watching the History channel last night and the were talking about Pluto and showing all the protestors. Is that a worthy cause to be fighting over? I mean you have soldiers dieing in Iraq, children being molested by pedofiles, people throwing their lifes away to drugs, alcohol, and prostitution, homeless, jobless, crime, orphan homes full of kids that need parents, people dieing with aids, children dieing with cancer, and so on....the world is full of horrible things....why do we really care if Pluto is a planet or not?

DId it ever occur to anyone that when the threats against various countries including my own, the USA, were made, that the crazy extremists did not target religions? Did it ever occur to anyone that we, the Muslims who do live in peace and live honest lives, are also their target and they'd kill anyone of us given the chance? where someone is obviously having a tough time, with snide remarks? I think prayer has the same effect as crossing your fingers, but if it gives these people peace or hope, why do some of us feel it necessary to mock them? I'm a smartass too, but there's a difference between being cruel and joking.
