Is India safe for Muslims?

In every year thousands of Muslims r being killed in India in the name of racism.Muslims are seriously disrerded in India in different manners. Do you feel India is safe for Muslims?

In Gujrat violation,hunfreds of Muslims were killed, pregnant woman were raped in the open street, In Kashmir Muslim Freedom fighters are called terrorist, & in general the muslims are deprived of their fundamental rights. If this conviction against India is true----Is India safe for Muslim? Please just opine and give upright & grounded opinion regarding the Q.

yes , Salmon Rushdie is from India.. before they had some fighting in Jammu Kashmir area.. I saw that in Film Bombay : ) you want to go there?
politicians use the religion as vote banks.. they create situations.. and later they let them to fight.... and later they will elections using that hate. and love to the religion.

This is a distortion of the truth. Propaganda to get the neighboring Muslim terrorist to declare a holy war and defend their so called brothers in India. India has been very gentle for the longest time. They have been taken advantage of by many nations. They are a gentle people in some ways, yet in other ways I feel very cruel. I mean how can they let so many die of starvation? How can they let abortion and murder of their unborn daughters go to the extent that it has today? India is safe if you have money, and good vaccines. I have heard that it is the muslim factions that have been hurting and vandalizing the India people. Muslims are immigrants not native Indians.

India is safe for Muslims. The last President of India himself was Muslim - the fourth Muslim President of India since independence, in fact. Muslims in India are treated better than Hindus in Pakistan. India is 12% Muslim; Pakistan is under 2% Hindu.

However, there is general anti-Muslim sentiment in the country because the Muslims ruled the subcontinent for many centuries and brutalized the Hindus(research the Ghaznavids, the Mughals, etc). The Sikhs were also persecuted. One of their ten gurus was executed for blasphemy.

Imagine that a country that Muslims are the ones being killed instead of doing the killing. I may have to go buy an Indian Flag. To the poster...sure India is a great place for Muslims, I think they should go there immediately, starting with Obama who is in the US.

Well, considering that India has the largest number of Muslims in the world, I'd say they're safe. And while some are killed for no reason, a lot of them start riots, burning down stores and kill other innocent people for no reason.
So it's about as safe as any other place.

I can't say so for Hindus staying in Muslim countries, but in India Muslims are safer than they are in other non Muslim county.

christians are disregarded and abused in many muslim countrys I say live and let life if you respect others they will respect you. in pakistan christians are threatened and beaten by the police no muslim would employthem as more than a cleaner do you think that is fair.
