What does weight have to do with religion? A lot of Christians happen to live in wealthy countries where fast food has become a trend and people give themselves less time for exercise.

By the way, I seriously doubt that "most" Christians are overweight. Maybe the ones in the USA, but not the ones world-wide.

Before answering that question, I would have to have reliable, verifiable data as to whether the condition exists.

I only request this because I have noticed that a large number of people will begin a question with "Why" and follow that with an absurd or insulting idea, in the hope that the majority of readers will assume that the idea actually has merit.

I know you'd never do such a thing.

Most? Do you mean 51% or more, or are you just trying to insult some health challenged people?

Why would you ask a question like this?

Because you're in America, where 2/3rds of the population is overweight.

Speaking for myself. I am a pentecostal Christian. Have you ever eaten the cooking of pentecostal women? If you had you would not ask this question.
