Sure I can conceive of a large variety of deities, just as mankind has through out it's existence. And just like those, any I conceive of will not exist.

Divinity isn't associated with the Old Testament...for me.
Some of the Gnostic texts relate the idea that the god of the old testament is not God...the one spoke of by Jesus.

That's actually a rather narrow way of looking at it, and one that's loaded with assumptions.
I think you need to work on your conceptions of people.
