God does.
When we´re born we´re all given a mission in this life, and it´s our duty to accomplish it. That determines if our life is successful or not. In men´s eyes, Christ´s life wasn´t very successful, he died on the cross at 33, he couldn´t convince the priests of his nation that He was the Messiah sent by The Father. However, his "failure" brought about our redemption, and made us enormously happy. We should imitate Christ and do our best to fulfill the msision appointed to each one of us. That´s what makes our life a success or a failure!

YOU DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry but the only person in control of your destiny is YOU. I am an Atheist and do not believe in the religious philosophy of gods plan. "you reap what you sow " "Karma is a state of mind" "Be positive and positive things will happen" all these statements are true, whatever you want in/out of life, you have to go and get it, there is no miracle of prayer that is gonna make your life change direction. if you wake in the morning and say to yourself "my life is without direction and purpose" you need to get yourself a more positive outlook and make the changes you need too, to give your life meaning. christian beliefs in love for the fellow man is something that you can believe in even if you don't believe in the godly part. get out and make a difference, enhance your life and you will be successful. remember "pessimism breads failure"
have a good day

You do. It's your life, after all.
"Envy not success, nor pity failure, for you do not know what is success or failure in the soul's reckoning."
--Neale Walsch, Conversations with God
Fame or integrity: which is more important?
Money or happiness: which is more valuable?
Success of failure: which is more destructive?
If you look to others for fulfillment,
you will never truly be fulfilled.
If your happiness depends on money,
you will never be happy with yourself.
Be content with what you have;
rejoice in the way things are.
When you realize there is nothing lacking,
the whole world belongs to you.
--Tao Te Ching

properly, i do no longer want every person else to tell me a thank you to act, think of, sense, and have faith. it is counterfeit spirituality. Figuring those issues out for myself is genuine spirituality.
