Here's what I think first of all regardless if they can trace their history to be in line with Peter or not, shouldn't they be checking to see if their roots are connected with Jesus instead? I respect the Pope but he has gone to far. What I see is a man and an organization fighting for power and position instead of being motivated by sincere love for the Church. And people by this garbage. This man doesn't have anymore authority or isn't an any more of a right standing with God than anyone else.

1 Corinthians 3:4-6
One of you says, "I follow Paul." Another says, "I follow Apollos." Aren't you acting like ordinary human beings?

And what do you have that you did not receive?

There are a wide range of beliefs and opinions by all of the various Christian religions. Do you think this matters as long as the person professes to know Christ.
I'm not trying to push a belief here, I'm merely interested in people's ideas about this.

I'm religious, and I pray, but attending mass every Sunday is not for me. That's not the way I want to worship. My family is Catholic and they go every Sunday, I don't want to be the odd ball in my entire extended family.

Also, if I don't go to church, what are other ways for me to worship?

Trying to use science on a religious board.,its like going to a sports board and talking about knitting needles.or dressing up in scuba gear to go and play football.
totally out of context,you cannot understand something if you use the wrong tools.

While i'm at it science proved the catholic church wrong by proving the world was round,2 secs,,christians never said the world was flat,,whats more the only thing the church did wrong was back established scientific theory of the day that said the world is flat,and now scientist turn around and say it was the christians,no way.

Am i wrong?

Do they continue to practice the pagan tradition of baptism. This practice was taking place among pagans for over a thousand years befor John the Baptist and Jesus arrived. The Baptism represented the dying and ressurection of their mythical Gods.

If so then why were they so against Joseph Smith using the right when he declared that practising polygamy was part of his religion.

Philip Badowski breaks chainsaw while cutting up the bodies of his Christian Missionary Parents


CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. Dec 11, 2004 — A college student who admitted he fatally shot his parents in their bedroom and broke a chain saw cutting up their bodies told investigators: "GOD told me to."

He said the killings were "spur of the moment" after his parents scolded him when they returned from a weeklong missionary trip to Haiti.
