If a person is never exposed to Chrisitianity and they die, they get to go to heaven. So why don't we just not spread Christianity anymore. Then everyone can go to heaven.

I'm slogging my way through the Bible just to see what all the hoo-ra is about and I'm about half-way through 1Chronicles. Is 1Chronicles and 2Chronicles just a retelling of stuff that already happened? Can I skip through them and go on, or will I miss stuff?

I've had dreams of people whom I talked to and even assisted in some way in a dream and the next morning see their picture on the news as having died...usually the night I had the dream. It gives me the willys, yet somehow feel like I've helped them in their transition to the afterlife. What do some of your seriously think about experiences like that?

Guys i'm a little upset,I heard in heaven were on our knees all time,doing the thing with your arms going up and down,representing worship,and then besides that all we do is work,and there are no breaks,it just a repeating of the process,I also here we get no sexual urges,so it's orgasm denial for an eternity.So I was thinking,well I won't do this,So in order for God to keep us whipped,he takes are free will,You know all of this has really upset me for a while,would any Christians out there please tell it's not like this,I mean seriously,think of your favorite genre of music,and don't say and Christian genre,say you love rap,we all know rap has a lot of cursing,therefore God would not allow most rap,Or what about Rock,Say you love Black Sabbath,You all know God would never allow that,So basically I think when we get to heaven,We will be stripped of free will,music and video games,and we will be forced to get on our knees.All im sayin is can some1 plez tell me this is not true?

I remember having a prayer card a while ago that said something along the lines of "Those who read this prayer will never die an accidental death, nor of fire and water, or at the hands of man". Does anybody know what saint this was? I want to get another copy because I really liked it but can't remember what card it was.

I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but I've been wondering this for quite some time. I remember reading online the predictions of St. Malachy, regarding popes. I didn't believe it until I read that the newly elected pope would be "The Glory of the Olive", which I think signifies the Benedictine Order. The new pope called himself Benedict and I was creeped out.

My question: Regardless of whether or not the Malachy prophecies are accurate or not, do you think the church knows this kind of stuff and sort of helps it along? Like everything that happens as it's predicted...the church knows it's supposed to happen and therefore MAKES it happen. Like they want the end to come just as it's supposed to and quickly? I don't even know if that makes any sense. I'm not even sure if it would be considered a conspiracy but just wondering what everybvody else thought.

My fiance and the love of my life is facing difficulty in his life and is going trough a tragic event. My love, thoughts, and prayers are with him. My Dad has witnessed footsteps, spirits, and strange things in his house since my mom passed in July 2003. He has lived there since 1978 and never had any situations like this before. Dad said he never believed in this until now. He's sharp as a tack, so nothing's imagined here. If it's my Mom, how can we know for sure and communicate?
